Cuba Gooding Jr's Ladies Run The Show

Actor Cuba Gooding Jr., appeared on the View Thursday and spoke about his three-year-old daughter running the show.

“Piper the princess, running the house,” Cuba joked. “She controls the house, are you kidding me?”

“Even the dog is like, ‘Oh, the baby is up!’ And our dog is 200 pounds.”

The boys — Spencer, 14, and Mason, 12 – are entering their teen-aged years and Cuba says it is his wife Sara who will guide them through the tumultuous terrain ahead. “We have a strong female voice in our household,” Cuba said. “My wife controls stuff.”

“The way the dog wakes up when the baby wakes up? That’s how I wake up when mom’s up. I sit up straighter a little bit.”

Sara doesn’t exert as much control as she might think, however!

Cuba shared that when he was a child, his dad would take him to movies regardless of their rating. “My wife is having none of that,” he says. “Spencer has seen certain movies because he’s 14, that Mason hasn’t seen…To her knowledge, [laughs] because sometimes I take him.”

Jennifer Aniston Gets Artificial Insemination

On the Big Screen! Jennifer Aniston has signed on to play a woman who wants to get pregnant via artificial insemination, Variety reports.

In The Baster, the actress and Juno's Jason Bateman star as best friends. After Aniston's character admits her fertility plans, Bateman's character -- described as neurotic and insecure -- secretly replaces the donor's sperm with his own, but then has to live with the secret that he's the child's real dad.

The flick, which begins filming this spring, is based on a short story of the same name that first appeared in The New Yorker. The currently childless Aniston -- who turns 40 on Sunday -- has declared that she'll have kids one day. "I just know it," she told Vogue last year.

In other recent news John Mayer appeared on Monday's Ellen DeGeneres show and talked about girlfriend Jennifer Aniston's new high-tech house -- and admits he occasionally sleeps over.

"There is no normal thing in the Aniston house," he says. "You won't find a light switch. The light switch is not antiquated."There is a six-button light panel. It does everything," Mayer goes on. "The top button is on and the button right below that one seems to be an air horn, so in the middle of the night, it [can be] very difficult [to sleep]."

Aniston gets confused by her high-tech home, too.Says Mayer, "The other day, I'm like, 'This is the most beautiful kitchen of all time. Where is the trash?'" Aniston, he adds, "didn't know where the trash was.

DeGeneres then puts Mayer on the hot seat, asking him if he sleeps over."Yeah, there are sleepovers, yeah," he says. "Yes, yes, there are."

Mayer also opens up about that infamous photo of him wearing a Borat-esque, one-piece bathing suit on his cruise."It is not photo-shopped," he says of the photo. "I sort of get drawn into the vortex when I look at it for too long.

"I have this cruise ... and the thing about a cruise is, everybody is supposed to let their hair down a little bit," he goes on. "I let a lot of hair down, but the fact is, that is something you're supposed to do for your fans. It's just plain silly."

Meanwhile, Aniston was on the DeGeneres' show Friday and admitted she isn't nervous about turning 40 on Feb. 11.

"I have to say, really, I feel better than I ever felt in my life," she said. "I did have a moment, though, over the weekend... I found a really long gray hair, and it kind of flipped me out.

"It's not my first, but it's the fact that it was so long," she said. "I was like ... 'How many others are there and what does that mean?' It actually brought me to tears, slightly.

DeGeneres then asked who will be going to Aniston's birthday party Saturday. Aniston said definitely her BFF Courteney Cox.

When DeGeneres held up a photo of Mayer (in a one-piece bathing suit), Aniston said, "I got to tell you, honestly, I almost don't want to touch it."

DeGeneres then commented on Mayer's swimsuit, and Aniston said, "The man’s got balls - what can I say?
"I think he's funny," she said, before adding, "let’s put [the photo] down now."

The Mother Of Octuplet's Does First Interview Today Following Discharge

Nadya Suleman, the woman who gave birth to eight babies last week, admits that she has always longed for a big family as an only child.

"That was always a dream of mine, to have a large family, a huge family, and -- I just longed for certain connections and attachments with another person that I really lacked, I believe, growing up," Suleman said in an interview with NBC's Ann Curry on Thursday.

Suleman, who sat down with Curry on the same day she was discharged from the hospital, said she liked a sense of "self and identity" from a young age.

"I didn't feel as though, when I was a child, I had much control of my environment," she told Curry. "I felt powerless. And that gave me a sense of predictability. Reflecting back on my childhood, I know it wasn't functional. It was pretty dysfunctional, and whose isn't?"

Suleman's mother, Angela Suleman, had told Us that her daughter did blame her childhood on her desire to have so many kids.

"She was always upset I didn't have more," Angela told Us. But I don’t think she really knew. If she had brothers and sisters, I don’t think she would have been happier."

In the interview, Suleman -- who already had six children before giving birth to the octuplets -- used the same donor, a friend, for all 14 kids. All of the children were conceived through in vitro fertilization.

"I went through about seven years of trying -- through artificial insemination," Suleman said.

"And through medication. And all of which was unsuccessful. And then the first -- IVF procedure from that-- from that facility -- it was successful. And then I just kept going in."

This whole story is so disturbing and selfish to me. How is a single mother going to handle 14 children under the age of 8?

If she's 33 and her oldest kid is 7 or 8 and she went through 7 years of unsuccessful attempts to have kids...she started artificial insemination at 18 or 19? What sort of doctor let's an unemployed 18-yr-old do that??

Not only does Madonna have to worry about young pop stars crowding her spotlight, according to a source from OK! she also has to contend with competition from her 12-year-old daughter, Lourdes Leon.

"I think Madonna can't stand that Lourdes is growing into a beautiful teen," a source tells OK! of the 50-year-old singer. "She seems envious of her youth and looks. She knows Lourdes is going to be gorgeous and will get the attention of the opposite sex. Knowing Madonna's taste for younger guys, it's a matter of course that they'll be dating men the same age. It's disturbing."

Not surprisingly, the superstar is desperately trying to keep her daughter in a permanent state of girlhood.

Singer M.I.A. has been added to the list of performers for this year’s Grammy Awards, set to take place on Sunday (February 8).

The Record Of The Year & Best Rap Song nominee is about to give birth to her first child, and the due date is the day of the ceremony!

Maya Arulpragasam, who is also nominated for an Oscar for her contribution to the “Slumdog Millionaire” soundtrack, “O … Saya,” is not only going to the Grammys, she’s going to perform. Let me reiterate this: her due date is … Sunday!!!

“They say that you’re often late the first time, so I’m planning to go” to the show, the 31-year-old told USA Today. “We’ll see. People are trying to get me to relax and focus on the baby. It’s like being in parallel universes.”

Don’t quote me on this, but I’m pretty sure she’ll be the first nine months pregnant singer to perform on the show.

“Having a baby is the most creative thing you can do,” she said. “It makes you re-learn the world through a child’s eyes.”

Miracle Drug Provides Hope To Jane Goody

Jane Goody was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer last August and underwent emergency surgery to remove a large tumour, her womb and her ovaries.

Since then, she has had several bouts of chemotherapy, causing all her hair to fall out.

The mother-of-two will undergo three weeks of chemo and Topotecan, before taking a week's rest and continuing with three more weeks of treatment.

Her publicist Max Clifford said of the drug: 'People in the same situation who have taken this drug have seen encouraging results.'

'The information that was given to her left her thinking there was no way forward.

The Big Brother star says she is 'frightened and angry'

'But this has given her a glimmer of hope. At the end of the day she is a young woman with two children and she is going to do everything in her power to prolong her life.'

After hearing news that the cancer had spread Jade sobbed 'I don't want to die'.

Earlier this week doctors said that the extent of her cancer was so bad that they are focusing on keeping her alive for as long as possible rather than pursuing a cure.

'I am devastated,' Miss Goody said yesterday. 'I am frightened and I am angry. I don't want to die because I have so much to live for.

'The reality is I have gone from a 40 per cent chance of a cure to seeing how long I can stay alive. The whole thing is so absolutely terrifying.'

Carnie Wilson Finally Has A New Job

The expecting mom and singer will be hosting GSN's revival of The Newlywed Game, which has been picked up for 40 episodes.

The show will be similar to the classic, with newlyweds answering questions about each other.
But, no matter how big Carnie gets, she'll never be able to fill Bob Eubanks' shoes, who hosted the original show back when it started in 1966.

Carnie says, "I've always loved game shows. My personality and energy is perfect for something like this. First of all, I'm married, and I loved watching 'The Newlywed Game' when I was younger. I watched it all the time. I always hoped the couples would start fighting."

The show will also feature a special bonus round where couples that appeared on one of the original episodes and remain married will compete against the newlyweds.

The new version of the game will premiere April 6th.

K-Fed To Accomodate Britney On Massive Comeback Tour

As she embarks on her comeback tour, Britney Spears is hopeful to have her boys Sean Preston and Jayden James along for the ride. But according to Kevin Federline's attorney, nothing has been set in stone just yet.

Mark Vincent Kaplan told press, "We are working toward that. There can be an agreement reached in probably the next day, but there is not an agreement that is signed yet."

The deal that is being worked out involves K-Fed traveling with the kids to see Miss Spears in different cities along the tour. Kaplan explained that Brit will be able to see her two sons on “pretty much the same schedule that she has now,” which is three days a week.

“Kevin is working to make them accessible by going on various central locations in various areas of the country, and he is doing that because he wants her to be able to have the maximum positive environment around her to assure that the tour will be successful.”

Kaplan added, “I don’t think the kids will be at venues. They will be available in her life when she is done with the rigors of performing.”

As for K-Fed’s new flame Victoria Prince, Kaplan said he wasn’t sure if she’d be joining him on his jaunts around the country. "I don't even know if they know yet, but she is a very solid person and they are really great together. She is very solid, responsible and [has had a] very positive effect."

Jessica Alba has given an interview to the March ELLE in which she talks about childbirth, her figure and her exotic looks.

Alba gave birth to daughter Honor Marie Warren last June. In the below photo from the magazine, she is posing with designer Joseph Altazurra.

On giving birth: "Contractions aren't that bad. If you've ever had bad cramps? That's what they're like. But that moment when they put the baby on your chest - that's deep. It's a deep experience."

On snapping back into shape so quickly after giving birth: "I did it for the Campari job. [The workouts] were horrible. I cried. And I haven't worked out since."

Her secret to looking slim after giving birth: "I wore a girdle. Eight weeks after my girlfriend had her baby, you could see her six-pack. She told me to put an elastic band around my waist - any kind of band or girdle works. She was like, "I slept in it." I didn't recover as fast as she did. I don't have a six-pack - that's just not my body at all."

On having an exotic look: "Anyone who's part of pop culture is going to be sensationalized and spun into something, some one-liner. Also, there aren't many other stars, besides Halle Berry and Jennifer Lopez, who most people in the world can related to. We look like people of the world - I can kind of mix in with girls in Asia, South America, Europe."

Angelina & Brad Face Fertility Fears As They Try For Baby Number Seven

Before Angelina Jolie's twins Knox and Vivienne celebrate their first birthday, the actress reportedly hopes to be pregnant with baby number seven, OK! exclusively reports.

Even though doctors advised Jolie not to have children for at least a year, she and Brad Pitt want more children now. "We average about two a year, so I guess we're overdue, aren't we?" Pitt said.

And Jolie agrees. "If [kids] come our way, we'd be happy to have them all," she said. The Brangelina clan (which includes Maddox, 7, Pax, 5, Zahara, 4, Shiloh, 2, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 7 months) may make their household chaotic at times, but the couple loves it.

"We haven't found any reason to stop yet," Pitt told U.K.'s Daily Telegraph in January. "It's chaos at times but there is such joy in the house. I look and there's our boy from Vietnam [Pax] and our daughter from Ethiopia [Zahara] and our girl was born in Namibia [Shiloh] and our son is from Cambodia [Maddox]... They're brothers and sisters, and it's a sight for elation."

Even though doctors believe that Jolie's thin figure will make it difficult for her to conceive, the 33-year-old actress is determined to get pregnant and reportedly on a strict fertility diet now.

"Angie is doing everything she can to get pregnant," a source close to the actress told OK!. "She's taking pre-natal vitamins, has dramatically cut down on her junk food consumption, and is seeing her obstetrician regularly whenever she's back in L.A."

Tiger Woods Excited For Arrival Of New Baby And Golf With Obama

He says it himself: Tiger Woods is going to have one hectic spring.

Woods, 33, hasn't played competitive golf since undergoing knee surgery in June, and says that his return to the tour hinges on the birth of his second child with wife Elin Nordegren. "A lot depends on the baby, which is due pretty soon," Woods, who admits to going "full-bore" in practice sessions, writes on his Web site.

"That takes precedent over anything I do golf-wise.""Elin, [daughter] Sam and I are very excited for the new baby to arrive, although that's when the real lack of sleep begins. But I must admit, I am also excited about returning to competition," he says.

"Early on, I didn't miss golf because I enjoyed staying home with Elin and Sam and I knew I wasn't physically able to play." He adds: "I'm taking it tournament to tournament. With our new addition, it's going to be a hectic spring."

Meanwhile, he's also trying to squeeze in a round with Barack Obama! The pair made tentative plans when Woods spoke at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., as part of a pre-inauguration ceremony. "We didn't get to talk much," Woods explains. "I didn't want to get in his way. I did ask him if he wanted to play golf and he said, 'I'd love to.' So we'll make it happen.

Farewell To "Sweet Sasha" & "Marvelous Malia!"

Ty Inc., the company that makes Beanie Babies, has decided to retire and rename their line of dolls that carried the monikers of the first daughters -- after getting a negative response from White House officials.

Although Ty Inc. insisted the dolls were not intended to depict Malia and Sasha, a spokeswoman for Michelle Obama had protested that the dolls were inappropriately using "young, private citizens for marketing purposes."

The dolls have been renamed "Marvelous Mariah" and "Sweet Sydney," the Associated Press reported Tuesday.

The original names were inspired by what Chief Executive Ty Warner called "this historic time in our nation's history," and the dolls were not intended to bear the likeness of President Barack Obama's two children.

"There's nothing on the dolls that refers to the Obama girls," Ty Inc. spokeswoman Tania Lundeen had said. "It would not be fair to say they are exact replications of these girls. They are not."

The brown-skinned dolls -- which were part of the company's "TyGirlz Collection" -- were introduced in early January and a limited supply had been shipped to retailers, the AP reported. Now, the company's site lists them as "Retired." Other dolls in the collection include Jammin' Jenna and Happy Hillary.

"We appreciate the company’s response to this matter," said Katie McCormick Lelyveld, a spokeswoman for Obama.

The 39-year-old model and actress reveals that she's 14 weeks pregnant with her first child.

AngieEverhart, who costarred alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in Last Action Hero, is doing it more or less on her own. She's keeping details about the father private.

"The dad is very nice and he's very excited about it, but we are not a couple," Everhart tells me. "It's nobody you know."

The redheaded beauty was most recently engaged to Joe Pesci but announced they had called it quits in April. She was briefly married to Ashley Hamilton.

Everhart also reveals she's hoping to turn her pregnancy into a reality show. She is currently shopping around Angie Baby, a series she is developing with World of Wonder, the company behind hits like Tori & Dean Home Sweet Hollywood, the new RuPaul's Drag Race and the soon to debut Heli-Loggers.

"I decided to do a show about me being a single, strong, healthy and good-spirited woman who is having a baby on her own," she says. "I want to show the positive aspects of women who do it on their own."

John & Kate Acting Like Divas?

John and Kate plus eight has not only been a cable hit about the family with twins and sextuplets, but it has also inspired a lot of hostility on the internet, where there are those who accuse parents Jon and Kate Gosselin of misusing their reality-show stardom to act like divas and acquire lots of free stuff from admiring viewers.

I don't really want to contribute to the Kate-hate, but last night's new episode, another one about the family's move to a bigger house, contained a few scenes between Jon and Kate that were a little disturbing.

Jon had bought a new shower nozzle (yes, this is the stuff from which Jon and Kate drama is drawn). But he didn't use a coupon when he went to the store. God forbid!

Sound like nothing? She let him have it! "I'm gonna shoot him!" she fumed to the camera crew.

Then she started talking to her husband as though he was about three years old, condescension mixing with anger. "You're not buying anything anymore!... This is annoying; beyond annoying!... Where's the receipt?... What is the rule about receipts?... You're gonna go back to the store this afternoon!"

On and on it went. Jon was, as usual, stoic, poker-faced. I have to admit I felt bad for him.

I like Kate and do watch the show--I identify with her compulsion to clean, clean, clean the house. I think a lot of her sarcasm can be funny. I like that she's so tough--most of the time. But last night, she was just over the top! I know moving can be stressful, but, can you please take it easy on your poor hubby: he's doing the best he can.

Life Actress Sarah Shahi Confirms Pregnancy

Actress Sarah Shahi and her fiancé, actor Steve Howey, are expecting their first child, her rep confirms.

Although her rep gives a fall due date, the creator of Sarah’s hit show Life shares that she is “almost four months pregnant” (making her due this summer) and jokes that the news has posed quite a “challenge and a … challenge” for the writers. According to Rand Ravich, Sarah’s character will soon be switching forces in order to give her a break from her demanding shooting schedules.

Britney's Former Manager Suing The Spears Family

Britney Spears former manager Sam Lutfi is suing the singer and her parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, for defamation and breach of contract, L.A. court documents show.

In the lawsuit filed Tuesday, Lutfi is also claiming libel, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

"Jamie and Lynne launched a campaign of lies and intimidation designed to destroy Lutfi and drive him out of Britney's life," the papers read. "This campaign also provided Jamie with the opportunity he needed to obtain an appointment as Britney's conservator."

Additionally, the lawsuit alleges: "Despite seemingly accomplishing their objectives, Jamie and Lynne have nevertheless continued their smear campaign against Lutfi. Thus, having no other alternative, Lutfi brings this action to defend himself against Jamie's and Lynne's persistent attacks."

Last Friday, Britney's father obtained a new restraining order against Lutfi, accusing him of harassing the Spears family.

In papers, Jamie Spears and lawyer Andrew Wallet, who oversee the singer's affairs as co-conservators, alleged that Lufti and two other men "are now working in concert to disrupt the conservatorship with utter disregard for Ms. Spears's health and well being."

From Baywatch bombshell to campaign model, Pamela Anderson is the latest star to pose for British designer Vivienne Westwood.

The designer first met Pam at her runway show during London Fashion Week in September 2008, as Pamela sat front row in a shocking barely-there gold lurex dress from Vivienne’s Gold label.

When it came time to choose the face of her spring collection, Vivienne said she immediately thought of Pamela.

The campaign was shot in and around Pamela’s trailer in Malibu. And it seems as though some of her trailer park neighbors were spotted in the backround posing for the ads as well.

To be honest, I am slightly frightened. She looks really creepy, whats with the over made-up eyes and growl?

Photographs of the advertising campaign will be published as a coffee-table book and will start appearing in this month in magazines worldwide.

Mark Wahlberg To Wed Without The Entourage

Mark Wahlberg and longtime girlfriend Rhea Durham don't have big plans for when they tie the knot.

"If we do it here [in L.A.], it'll probably just be us and the kids," Wahlberg, 37, told reporters at Monday's Callaway Golf Foundation Challenge at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., benefiting the Entertainment Industry Foundation's cancer research programs.

"If we do it in Boston, I would say there'd be a lot more family members, so there'll be some fighting," he joked.

Walberg and Durham, who have three children – Ella Rae, 5, Michael, 2, and 4-month-old Brendan Joseph – haven't finalized all the wedding details but the actor says it will most likely happen in August and will "definitely [be] in a Catholic church."

And even with some sibling rivalry in the Wahlberg household, the Entourage executive producer says the family's newest addition, Brendan Joseph, is doing well and is "well behaved."

"He doesn't go crazy like the other little ones," he explained. "They love him. Everybody wants mommy's attention but they love him."

Bobby Brown's Perogitive Is To Procreate!

Bobby Brown and his girlfriend Alicia Etheridge are expecting a baby, his agent Ravi Dabiesingh confirms.

It will be the actor's fifth child.

"Yes, Bobby is expecting his fifth child from Alicia," Dabiesingh said. "There aren't too many details out there right now, but we do know he is very excited, as Bobby is big on family. The sex of the baby is not known yet, and we can confirm she is four months along."

Brown started dating Etheridge in 2007.

He split with Whitney Houston in 2006. They have one daughter, 15-year-old Bobbi Kristina.

The singer has three children from other relationships: Landon, LaPrincia and Bobby Jr.

Earlier in the day, Violet got to hang out with her father Ben Affleck as he gave her a ride to school before heading off to prep for his big “He’s Just Not That Into You” premiere last night.

The “Sliding Doors” actress recently defended her marriage, telling press that just because they don’t make public appearances together, it doesn’t mean something’s wrong"It doesn't behoove us to be a public couple. He certainly doesn't want to be that. We've never ever walked down a red carpet together, we never will. If people think that that means we're not together, then – ha ha ha! – so be it."

In fact, Paltrow and Martin’s marriage passed a pretty major test when they were able to keep it together after Gwyn’s father died back in 2002. "I'm amazed he stuck with me [at the time her dad died], because I was a wreck. I can't believe that he did."
