Tobey Maguire and his wife, Jennifer Meyer, welcomed their second child Friday, the actor's rep confirms.

"I can confirm the Maguires had a baby boy today, and the family is healthy and happy," says rep Kelly Bush.

Maguire, 33, and Meyer, 31, are also parents to daughter Ruby, 2 1/2. The couple met in 2003 and married in 2007.

Mathew Broderick Says Son James Wilke Can't Wait To Meet His Twin Sisters!

Matthew Broderick's 6-year-old son, James Wilkie, can't wait to meet his twin sisters.

"He's pretty excited," Broderick tells David Letterman in an episode of the Late Show airing tonight on CBS. It's his first interview on the babies since he and wife Sarah Jessica Parker announced they were expecting via a surrogate last week.

"He said, 'We have to get a lot of princess toys,'" Broderick says. "He's just now thinking, 'Wait a minute, am I [not going to be an only child anymore]?'
"He's a pretty grown up kid," continues Broderick.

Broderick jokes that he's not as confident about raising twin girls. "Oh man, I'm nervous just even thinking about it," he says.

Letterman asks: "Are you ready for this? Because...it's not just one child, it's, like, two. It's like one of those Octo-mom deals."

"Yeah, I'm ready. You know, I've asked people, What's it like to have twins?' One father said, 'I don't recommend it," quips Broderick -- currently starring in The Philanthropist on Broadway. "But the rest have been very positive."

The Gosselins Earn $50,000-$75,000 An Episode!

Kate Gosselin of TLC's Jon & Kate Plus 8 said the focus on her current marital woes is "a result of our situation -- our very public lives."

"We, as you know, have a reality show," she said on Thursday's Larry King Live while promoting her new book, Eight Little Faces. "Everyone wants to know everything about us. And I feel like this is a situation where, you know, you can't believe everything that you read. You know that. I know that."

"And so we are dealing with it privately," she went on. "We are handling it one step at a time. And I think the important thing to remember is that we love our kids to pieces. They are safe and happy and healthy. And of all times, their birthday is coming up. And I'm just thanking God for five wonderful years with eight wonderful kids. And, you know, we're just -- we're focusing on them."

Asked if their kids -- twins, 8, and sextuplets, 5 - are aware of coverage of her husband Jon's affair with 23-year-old school teacher Deanna Hummel, Kate said, "They attend a very quiet, private school where, you know, people aren't paying attention to that. They're investing their time in their kids' education and activities. And, no, they are, at this point unaware. But they are very aware that we love them very much."

King also read a statement from Jon, who -- despite video, pics and on-the-record interviews -- denies cheating on his wife. "These allegations are false and just plain hurtful," read the statement. "As I adjust to the attention that comes from being in the public eye, I need to be more careful and aware of who I'm associating with and where I'm spending my time. The bottom line is I did not cheat on Kate. I'm sorry for putting my family in this awkward position, given some poor decisions and bad judgments I've made recently. I'm working through this difficult time with my family and my family is my top priority."

Asked by King what Jon meant by "bad judgment," Kate replied: "Well, this is a situation where, you have to understand, we are a couple, we are a family who didn't set out to live, you know, the celebrity lifestyle. We are living our lives like a normal family. Cameras come in and film us. And that, to the world -- to the public, makes us celebrities. I do not like that word."

"I am not a celebrity..." she added. "I am a mom and a wife. And I feel that Jon is having difficult times realizing that, you know, you can't go to the grocery store without people whipping out their cell phones, calling everyone they know and taking pictures of you. He is dealing very poorly with it."

She added, "And I feel like these, you know, things are making him realize, oh, my gosh, I cannot go anywhere without everyone knowing..."

Despite her drama being unfolded in the public, she said is not sorry she signed up for their TLC show, for which she earns an estimated $50,000-$75,000 per episode. "I look at life as a glass half full is my attitude," she told King. "And I feel like we have learned a lot, the kids have gained a lot. We have benefited a lot. And life lessons is -- you will see in our show. And this is full of life lessons."

"Life happens," she went on. "And, you know, we all have to react to what happens to us. And I choose happiness. And I choose to survive anything."

She doesn't even mind criticism that she sometimes appears aggressive and mean toward her husband on camera.

Asked if she controls editing, she told King, "We do not. That's why those episodes still air."
"Once it's filmed, it's in the can ... it's airable," she went on, adding that she'll only ask scenes to be edited if they're inappropriate "from the kid's standpoint."

"But as far as myself, I don't know that I've ever asked that anything be changed about me, because I don't really care about me, she said. "I'm protecting the kids."

Ryan Phillippe and his 9 1/2-year-old daughter Ava Elizabeth were seen getting an afternoon treat at Noah's Bagels in Brentwood on Thursday. Little brother Deacon, 5 1/2, was not with the duo.

Ava and Deacon's mom is Reese Witherspoon. After seven years of marriage, Reese filed for divorce from Ryan on November 8, 2006. The Cruel Intentions co-stars shares joint custody of their children.

Reese has since moved on with A-list actor, Rendition co-star Jake Gyllenhaal while Ryan is currently dating Australian actress Abbie Cornish whom he met in 2006 while filming Stop-Loss. Cornish was widely reported to be the "other woman" that ended Ryan and Reese's marriage, though neither Witherspoon nor Phillippe has confirmed these rumors.

Lance Armstrong Reveals Split With Sheryl Crow Was Over Babies

In his upcoming book, Lance Armstrong reveals that he and ex fiancee Sheryl Crow split in 2006 because she wanted to have children -- and he didn't.

"She wanted marriage, she wanted children; and not that I didn't want that, but I didn't want that at that time because I had just gotten out of a marriage, I'd just had kids [Luke, 9, and twins Grace and Bella, 7]," Armstrong says Lance (out in July), as excerpted by the New York Post. "Yet we're up against her biological clock -- that pressure is what cracked it."

Armstrong, 37, says that he and Crow, 47, even went to a counselor, "but really there's no way to counsel that situation." "If somebody wants a child -- man, that's the greatest gift you can give to a woman -- ... who are you to stand there and say I don't want one?" he says. "So we were at different points in our lives. We were not compatible on that issue."

Adds Armstrong (who announced in December that he is expecting a baby with girlfriend Anna Hansen): "I felt like I wasn't ready ... I would have been in the future, but not then."

In May 2007, the unwed Crow adopted a two-week-old boy, Wyatt. Of motherhood, Crow said this past February, "It’s great! I love every minute of it." "The best part is all of it," she added. "I would love more kids! I don't know about 14 kids, but I'd love more!"

Jon & Kate Gosselin Speak Out About Recent Tabloid Stories

In an interview with EW, Jon and Kate Gosselin -- the stars of TLC's top-rated Jon and Kate Plus Eight -- spoke about the recent tabloid coverage that alleged the 32-year-old father was unfaithful to his wife. In the early morning hours of April 18, a paparazzo photographed Jon leaving a Pennsylvania bar with a woman who has since identified herself as Deanna Hummel, 23 (Kate was out of town promoting her latest book, Eight Little Faces). Since then, Hummel and friends of Jon have come to his defense, including a bouncer at the bar who said "there was no romantic anything" between Jon and the woman.

What did you think of the story and photo?
Jon: It's really upsetting. I may be guilty of choosing the wrong time and place to hang out with my friends, but I am not guilty of cheating on my wife. It hurts me to see what it's done to my family, and it's scary to know that these tabloids are in town constantly following us and even paying locals large amounts of money to contribute to these negative stories. It's even gotten so bad that [one tabloid] has reached out to a youth pastor from our church, which in my eyes is completely unacceptable.

Kate: It's disturbing and unfortunate that these tabloids have gone as far as they have to try and bring us down. Jon's poor judgment and irresponsible behavior has also without a doubt caused some added tension and stress between the two of us.

Does the tabloid story make you want to spend even less time in public?
Do you feel like you have to decline future requests for fan photos for fear they may end up in the wrong hands?
Jon: Our fans and the majority of viewers have been overwhelmingly supportive, but when tabloids take photos and turn them into something they are not, yes it definitely makes us hesitant to take photos with fans and go about our daily lives. We still want to live normal lives. We want our kids to have opportunities that we didn't have growing up, which is why we participated in the show in the first place. But of course it makes us think twice about how we spend our time in public.

Will you address how the tabloid coverage has affected your life in the upcoming season on Jon and Kate, which begins May 25?
Kate: I think we will address the bigger picture, regarding the very public focus on our family and the stress it's caused in our relationship, but not necessarily any specific tabloid.

That said, the latest tabloid coverage should only boost ratings for the fifth season of your show. Is this comforting, or troubling?
Kate: We are not concerned about the ratings right now. Our main focus is on our family and working through this.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 Dad's Affair Confirmed

In the new issue of Us Weekly, five people close to the situation - including two relatives of the other woman - confirm that Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad Jon Gosselin, 32, has been having an affair with third grade school teacher Deanna Hummel.

The most explosive blow-by-blow details are revealed by Deanna's older brother - and roommate - Jason, who says that he is speaking out now to set the record straight and to protect his naive sister.

"She's a nice girl, not a homewrecker," Jason says. "He is a bad liar. This isn't healthy for her. But she is refusing to help herself, so here I am trying to help her myself. I hope this clears the air."

After Jon and Deanna met in mid-January at Chill Lounge in Reading, Pennsylvania (they sent each other $3 shots), Jason says Jon -- who has twins, 8, and sextuplets, 5 -- began relentlessly pursuing his sister. By mid-February, he was been coming over to their Reading house.

On April 26 - while his wife Kate was traveling - Jon had Deanna over to sunbathe in his family's front lawn. This was just seven days after they had first been photographed together at Legends Lounge at 2 a.m. in pictures that show he is not wearing his wedding band.

At the Hummel house, Jason says Deanna and Jon would "pretty much stay locked away like two teenagers. It was weird. He's a grown man."

He also adds, "A lot of the time, it was pretty, um, gross listening to her, you know, um — how do I say this? The walls are thin. Let’s just say that. I mean, no one wants to hear his sister having sex, let alone with a married dude who's, like, almost twice her age and who has eight kids and a maybe-crazy wife. Ick. Nast."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Is 'Not Paying Attention' To Her Pregnancy

For soon-to-be mom-of-three Elisabeth Hasselbeck, a leisurely pregnancy spent indulging her every whim is a thing of the past.

“The first time around, you’re a pregnant goddess and you’re like, ‘This is my child,’ and everyone is running around giving you water,” she noted during the launch of Lilly Pulitzer’s ‘A Colorful Cause’ collection in New York City.“By the third time around, you’re just lucky to have a prenatal pill by the end of the day.”

While Elisabeth jokes that she’s “not paying attention” to her pregnancy, it appears as though she’s not alone! Grace Elisabeth, 4, and Taylor Thomas, 17 ½-months are so busy having fun with each other, they barely have time to notice anything else.

“I’m just really celebrating them together and having them talk to one another and letting them really enjoy this time as brother and sister. Then I’ll throw in the word baby once in awhile to remind them.”

Baby-on-the-way — due in August — will be a delivery surprise, as were Grace and Taylor. “I don’t want to find out,” Elisabeth explains. “I like the surprise. It’ll get me through the delivery.”

Jon Gosselin's Mystery Girlfriend Breaks Her Silence

The woman who set blogs ablaze last week for stepping out with Jon Gosselin has come forward to say that there's absolutely nothing romantic going on between her and the married reality star of TLC's Jon & Kate Plus 8.

"We're just friends," Deanna Hummel, 23, tells People. "It's absurd that anyone would think otherwise."

According to Hummel, she met Gosselin through a mutual pal a couple of months ago. Since then, the two have been hanging out – as part of a group of friends, not as couple. The social outings have included visits to each other's houses and nights out on the town, but always with others there, and it's always all innocent, according to Hummel.

"We just talk and socialize, the normal things you do when you see friends," says Hummel.

Hummel admits that the two did show up at Legends Bar in Reading, Pa., recently, but says a published photo of her driving Gosselin's car has been misinterpreted. "He just got this new car and I wanted to drive it. I'm into cars," she says. "We all have guy and girl friends. Because of who he is, it gets portrayed the wrong way, and it's unfair to him and his family."

She also adamantly denies that Gosselin called her "babe" while heading to his car. "He did not by any means call me 'babe,' " she says. "Nobody calls me babe. That made me laugh."

What she doesn't find funny, though, is being linked to a married man. "He's a very nice guy, don't get me wrong. But he's married with eight children," says Hummel, who is single. She adds that Gosselin "has a great family life. I would never ever think to pursue anything."

After reports broke last week that Gosselin had been spotted out late at night with a woman who is not his wife, he released a statement saying he'd shown "poor judgment." "My family is the most important thing in my life and it kills me that these allegations have hurt them," he added.

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard made it official on Saturday: The longtime couple, who have a daughter together, tied the knot in a romantic wedding in Italy.

"We are happy to confirm that Maggie and Peter were married on Saturday, May 2," the actress's rep said in a statement.

The celebration took place in a small chapel in Brindisi, according to European news reports. Among the guests were Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon.
