Ellen And Portia Talk About The Possiblity Of Having Kids

Ellen spoke to AOL TV about having kids, saying that all the commercials she sees lately makes her think about them!

“When I see those print ads that have the babies in them for Gap, maybe that’s cute that you have a little Gap knit sweater on the head, little Gap outfit,” she tells AOL TV. “They advertise kids very well, those Gap ads. I don’t even look at the clothes — I just go, ‘That’s a cute baby, I’ll take that one.’ ”

Still, she said, for her and wife Portia di Rossi, kids are not coming anytime soon.

“I think that is one of the things about not being able to just accidentally get pregnant and have a child,” she explains. “You really, really have to want one, whether it’s trying to figure out how you get pregnant or if you adopt.

I think that’s even more of a reason that people that aren’t able to have kids should be allowed to adopt because you have to really want a kid, and that’s a big responsibility,” she says. “So we are not taking it lightly. We would really think about it before we did it.”

Victoria Beckham says she and her famous BFFs -- Katie Holmes, Eva Longoria Parker and Kate Beckinsale -- love to joke about crazy pregnancy rumors.

"You get a little water retention; it's not news," Beckham, 34, says in the January issue of Harper's Bazaar. "Me, Katie, Eva and Kate always joke about how one of us is allegedly pregnant, but no, we're just a little bloated today! None of us is pregnant."

But that doesn't mean Beckham wouldn't like to have more kids. Already mom to three boys - Brooklyn, 9; Romeo, 6 and Cruz, 3 - she says she's ready for a daughter.

"I'm such a girl's girl," she says. "I walk into my closet and go, 'Crikey!' To one day hand that down to another girl...."

She also opens up about her "very disciplined" diet.

"It's funny; I go to the gym now," she says. "I run four miles a day."
Before events, "I go into hair and makeup, and I turn into 'Victoria Beckham.' I'll try on all my dresses, and I'll pick out a handbag, and I'll put on shades. I instantly turn into into this person, and it sort of feels like a character. And there are so many pictures of it...But it's a true character because it's still me."

She dolls herself up anytime she leaves the house.

"If I go to the supermarket looking like s--t, that affects my work. I am selling an image," she says. "Plus, I have fun with it."

Tom And Katie Cover The New York Times Style Magazine

Tom Cruise admits he fell hard for Katie Holmes.

"I knew I wanted to marry Kate when I met her," he says in the Dec. 7 issue of T: The New York Times Style Magazine, in which he and his wife of two years appear on split covers for the "Holiday/Reinvention" issue.

When Holmes confessed to him that she dreamed of marrying him as a little girl, "I said I wouldn't want to disappoint her," Cruise says.

So, the actor says, he bought Holmes an engagement ring shortly after their first date in 2005.

"At one point, I thought she was going to ask me to marry her first and I put her off by changing the subject," Cruise adds. "I wanted to ask her."

In a separate interview, Holmes -- who says she "admired him growing up" -- admits she also was "completely in love" after their first meeting.

"He was so warm, and I thought, 'Wow,'" says the star. "I thought, 'You can be a superstar and a human being.'
"He made me feel so amazing," adds the actress, who welcomed their daughter Suri in 2006.

Since her romance with Cruise began, Holmes says, "My life has expanded. My family and friends are all a part of this bigger life."

"Each of the boys had one of those soldier guys (employees) to walk around with, and they each had a huge metal trolley cart to fill up," says a witness who was in the store. "They picked out hundreds of dollars worth of MacK Trucks, cement mixers and RC cars."

Former Baywatch star Gena Lee Nolin and her husband, NHL hockey player Cale Hulse, have welcomed a girl.Stella Monroe Hulse was born Wednesday in Scottsdale, Ariz., and weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long.

"Mom and baby are both healthy and doing very well," says Nolin's rep, Jerry Shandrew. "The whole family is very excited to welcome baby Stella home".

This is the second child for the couple, who welcomed son Hudson in April 2006. Nolin also has an 11-year-old son, Spencer, from her first marriage to video producer Greg Fahlman, and Hulse has a daughter, Caia, 7, from a previous relationship.

The two met in 2006 on the set of their short-lived ABC drama Men In Trees while Heche was still wed to husband Coley Laffoon (whom she has a 6year old son, Homer, with).

Kevin Federline Breaks His Silence About Britney

Kevin Federline has been called many things in the nearly five years since Britney Spears walked into his life: boy toy, gold-digger, wannabe rapper, partier. These days he answers to one name: Daddy.

Since splitting with Spears in 2006 – and then watching in fear as she went through her very public breakdown – the former backup dancer, 30, has channeled all of his energy into their sons Preston, 3, and Jayden, 2. (Federline also has two kids, Kori, 6, and Kaleb, 4, with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson, 32.)

Now that Spears, 27, is getting her life back on track, they're sharing parenting duties again – and Federline is ready to tell his side of the story.

Do you remember when you first met Britney? I met her at a club in Hollywood, Joseph's. Our eyes met and that was it. We just hit it off right away. I learned real fast how much of a whirlwind the press and everything was.

What are your happiest memories of the marriage?Well, getting married. I never thought that I would get married but it wound up happening. That was a really, really, happy, exciting moment. I pretty much realized that I was giving my life to her, and I was doing it without question.

What went wrong?It's hard enough to be in a marriage, and then have a kid, then kids, it changes everything. For me, I'd become more concerned with my children. Not that I ignored Britney, but my kids are always most important ... I mean, we were having complications. I didn't give her an ultimatum, but I was trying to work stuff out with her, and she didn't even talk to me or anything and went behind my back and filed [for divorce]. [I was] completely blindsided.

A lot of people assumed you fought for custody of the kids because of money. My first question to [my lawyer] was, "Am I ever going to be able to see my children?" I told him that I would spend every last dime that I had to make sure that my children are okay. That's all that mattered. I didn't know how much power Britney had. That really scared me.

How did you react in January when Britney locked herself in the bathroom with Jayden and was later taken to the hospital on a gurney? That whole night is a blur. You want to talk about one of my lowest points of depression, that was probably one of them. I was very, very worried for her 'cause I care about her. That's the mother of my children. Just because I'm not in love with her doesn't mean that I don't love her. I'm definitely rooting for her. There's nothing more that I want than for her to be in the best health and doing what she loves to do.

Are things getting better? Oh, man, it's totally turning around. It works out that [the kids] get to see her. There's structure over there, there's structure at my house. We're trying to keep the same type of schedule. It doesn't have to be completely perfect, but the foundation is there.

Britney Spears looks fabulous in a black winter coat with a ruffled collar as she tapes her appearance at Rockefeller Center for the New York City Tree Lighting Ceremony on Tuesday night.

According to OK!, the 27-year-old pop princess was scheduled to perform but instead will just be giving a taped message.

“She was originally supposed to perform live and then she wanted to pre-tape her performance instead,” a source tells the mag. “Then she didn’t want to do that. She keeps changing her mind and now she’s not performing at all but she is still supposed to pre-tape at 7 p.m.”

As they exited their car, Tom realized his young daughter dropped her stuffed animal, which he quickly bent down to pick up before the trio made their way into the entrance.

A short while later, Katie was spotted on the phone she headed out solo for another go at her Broadway show "All My Sons" at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater.

Making the most of their time together, TomKat also reportedly took in a Tina Turner concert at Madison Square Garden the previous evening, mingling with fellow celebrity Anne Hathaway backstage.

Brad Pitt hit the red carpet last night at the New Orleans premiere of "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" -- and opened up about the security guard scuffle he was involved in last month.

"Do we need to clear the air?" Pitt asked "Extra" of the incident. "I don't know what it looked like -- I'm not sure what he was doing. He wasn't trying to keep the guys out that shouldn't have been there."

Nosy photogs seem to be one of Pitt's pet peeves. The father of six unleashed his frustration about the shutterbugs on "The Today Show," saying, "Let me be very blunt -- I hate these people. I have no respect for these people, I do not like them, and I don't understand how they can live their lives that way. ...We've got to make the distinction between people who photograph you at events, and people who climb over your walls wearing camouflage -- calling out your kids' names as you're trying to take them to school."

Angelina Jolie was also on hand to support her man, speaking only to "Extra," exclaiming, "I'm very, very proud." When asked if she had a nice Thanksgiving with her brood, Angie responded, "Yeah, we did. Wonderful. We all did chip in." Does that mean dad Brad helped with the cooking? "It wasn't me, but we ate like kings," revealed Brad.
