J Lo Files $30 Million Lawsuit Against Stroller Makers
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have filed a lawsuit against the makers of a baby carriage to the tune of $30 million.
The supercouple filed the suit in a California District Court on Wednesday against Silver Cross Ltd, claiming the company, which has outlets in the U.S. and U.K., used a photo of them to help sell a baby stroller.
According to the lawsuit obtained by Access Hollywood, the entertainers claim the company used a photo of the couple using a Silver Cross Balmoral Pram Carriage stroller to help sell the product on the company’s Web site and “in various print and electronic media and newsletters,” the suit reads.
They claim Silver Cross “knowingly and intentionally misappropriated and used the names, images, likenesses and photographs of Lopez and Anthony to market and sell Defendants’ line of high-end baby carriages throughout the world,” the suit continues.
The couple added in their suit that the “defendants have sought to illegally capitalize on Plaintiffs’ hard work, reputations and world-wide celebrity and recognition.”
Jennifer and Marc have eight complaints listed in their lawsuit, including violation of civil code, misappropriation of the common law right of publicity, false designation of origin, dilution of common law trademark, copyright infringement, unjust enrichment, accounting, preliminary and permanent injunction.
In addition to asking for more than $5 million in damages on six of the eight claims, the couple have asked for attorneys fees and profits associated with the sale of the baby buggy.
Silver Cross Ltd. have not yet responded to the filing in District Court.
Yikes! Hopefully they will donate the money to a good cause should they win.

Kimora Lee Simmons Will Continue Life In The Fab Lane As She Wins Huge Payout From Ex Russell Simmons
The divorce between Lee, 33, and Russell Simmons, 51, has been finalized, with huge payouts for the model/fashion designer. Simmons has agreed to pay child support for daughters, Ming, 9, and Aoki, 6, of $20,000 each per month until the girls turn 19, according to court papers filed Thursday in Los Angeles.
Lee also won sole legal and physical custody of the girls, with monitored visitation for Simmons. "When the children are in [Simmons's] custody, they shall be accompanied at all times by a nanny and security person," the filing reads.
Simmons also agreed to provide a new car, worth at least $60,000, for the children's use, until they turn 16. The car will be replaced every three years, documents show.
The papers also outline a meticulous, seven-page agreement on Simmons's visitation rights, giving him access to the girls every eighth week during their school year and on various holidays.
The couple split in March 2006. Two years later, Lee said she's "kind of" engaged to boyfriend Djimon Hounsou.
A lawyer for Simmons had no comment.

Octopulet Grandmother Not Against Adoption
Angela Suleman -- grandmother to the infamous octuplets -- says she wouldn't be against her daughter, Nadya, putting the babies up for adoption if she can't afford them.
"It's very hard to say because they are my grandchildren. However, if I could know the future...if I could see that she would not be able to take of them financially...I would opt for this," she says in an interview with The Insider that airs tonight.
Nadya has no job, and supports her children with food stamps and disability income."I just hope she will [be able to care for them], because she will never have them adopted," Suleman continues.
The grandmother -- who is facing foreclosure in the home she shares with Nadya and her other six children -- says she's put her own life on hold and wants to "live a little. "I'm ready to go visit Europe again and see my friends," she says. "I love my grandchildren, but when she asks me, like tonight, can she go visit the other babies...I said no because I made plans already. I need to change. I can't just live for my daughter, I have my own life."
On Tuesday, Nadya told TV host "Dr. Phil" McGraw that she fears the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in California won't release the infants.
"What she is telling me is that unless and until she has a better living arrangement, that they are not likely to release the children to her," McGraw tells The Los Angeles Times.
Currently, all eight Suleman's newborns continue on room air and no longer need intravenous supplemental nutrition. All eight of the babies are gaining weight and continue being fed donated pasteurized breast milk.
"At one month old, the babies are doing well," said Mandhir Gupta, MD., Neonatologist at the medical center. "They are alert and responsive to the care our nurses are providing them. In fact, we are slowly introducing them to nipple or bottle feeding a few times a day, and they're getting better and better at coordinating sucking, swallowing and breathing. Our nurses can't help but smile as each in turn gets stronger."

Gisele Bundchen & Tom Brady Get Married, Officially!
Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady wed today in a Catholic ceremony in Los Angeles, California, Usmagazine.com confirms.
The bride, 28, donned a form-fitting ivory lace strapless gown with a trumpet skirt, scalloped edges, long train and a floor-length veil with attached handmade satin roses and attached satin headband, all by Dolce & Gabbana. Her three dogs also wore matching Dolce & Gabbana floral lace collars.
The ceremony -- which began at dusk -- was "very small and intimate," a source says, adding that guests mostly consisted of immediate family. Brady's son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was also present.
(Fitting, as Bundchen once described her ideal wedding as "a simple ceremony...I don't like parties, I prefer something more intimate, just for the closest people.")
The Brazilian-born supermodel has been dating the New England Patriots quarterback, 31, since 2006. The couple purchased an $11.7 million home in a gated community in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles late last year.

Michelle Obama Covers People
Their father may have run on a platform of change, but for First Daughters Malia and Sasha Obama, the rules are the same in the White House as they were in their home in Chicago.
Start with the girls' chores. They're still making their own beds, cleaning their rooms and clearing their dishes. And even with their grandmother, Marian Robinson, 71, staying in a third-floor guest room to help out, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, must show responsibility.
Their mother, Michelle Obama, has asked the White House staff not to do too much. "People want to make your life easy, and when you have small kids – I've explained this to the staff – they don't need their lives to be easy. They're kids," she says.
The girls do have roaming privileges all around the historic mansion and can pop into the Oval Office whenever they want. "I've tried to encourage them to feel like this whole place is their home," Mrs. Obama tells PEOPLE. "We actually had this conversation – just let us know where you're going."

Denise Richards Daughters Got Her Through Public Scrutiny & Humiliation
Trying to find Mr. Right these days isn't easy, says Denise Richards.
Asked on Wednesday's Ellen DeGeneres Show if she is dating, Charlie Sheen's ex says, "dating-ish. It's hard."
DeGeneres then asks if "dating-ish" is one guy or a bunch of guys.
"Just -ish," says Richards, 38, who will star on the upcoming season of ABC's Dancing With the Stars. "We'll leave it at that."
As a single mom (Sam is 4; Lola is 3), "I don't want to bring someone around my children who have been through enough.""If you're out in public with someone, then [people] automatically think you're with them, so...." she continues.
How does she ever get a chance to meet somebody? "I haven't quite figured that out," she says. "That's the -ish part." She then adds, "Let's say I’m not engaged to anyone."
DeGeneres asks her if she would ever go for Ryan Seacrest, who is executive producer of her E! reality show."I know him, and he knows way too much about me," she says. "He sees the dailies of our show and everything else ... it's almost embarrassing!"
Asked how she got through her rocky split with Sheen and the death of her mother, Richards says, "it was probably the worst few years of my life."
"A lot of public scrutiny and humiliation," she says. "Before my Mom passed away, during the public humiliation of different things I was dealing with, my mom would always say, 'You're a lot stronger than you think. You’ll get through it.'"
"Then, you know, she passed away, so I had to deal with that, which was really difficult," she continues. "But I think it's, you know, my kids. I could've gone one way or the other, and I have two little girls, so I needed to be a parent.... There is a lot of stuff obviously they don't know, but I had to move forward."

Kevin Federline Interested In Starting A Children's Clothing Line
Given the current economy, Kevin Federline can't fathom throwing down $200 for a pair of True Religion jeans for his boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James. So, WWD reports, he wants to start a children's clothing line -- and is in talks with Gerard Guez about a licensing deal.
Federline, who made an overnight stop at a Las Vegas trade show in the interest of research, said he was scoping out the styles for inspiration.
"It's a really tough business, I'm trying to take it seriously and make a quality product for kids but not have parents pay like $500 or something ridiculous for a pair of jeans," said the rapper, who receives $20,000 a month in child support from ex Britney Spears.
"You buy your kids a pair of True Religions then they roll around in the dirt like kids do and a $200 pair of jeans is gone," he went on. "With this economy, I’m looking to do something much more reasonable."
No word yet on the name of the line or a release date.

Rosie O'Donnell Gets Menopause Advice From Madonna
Rosie O'Donnell has been e-mailing back and forth with Madonna about menopause, she reveals in an interview on The Tyra Banks Show to air Thursday and Friday.
"She's [Madonna] great, she's a lot like a big sister," O'Donnell says. "When I started having my hormone things, I'm like, 'What the hell is going on?' she's like, 'Get the cream.'"
The former View host doesn't hold anything back when talking about her body."Well let me tell you one thing, Tyra: I am about to be 47 next month and Aunt Flow has not shown up for nine months," she says.
"It started for me at 41...I would be in the bed, and I would wake up and the sheets would be soaking wet -- not damp -- soaking wet," she shares. "I thought, 'Oh [daughter] Vivi crawled in here last night and maybe she wet.' So I would throw the covers off and turn to look -- and there's no Vivi, it's just [partner] Kelli. Then I'm like, 'Kelli is incontinent!' And then I realized, no it's me."
Other changes in O'Donnell's life? She's given up booze.
"I stopped drinking on Dec. 1. It has not been easy," she admits."On Nov. 29, I was with my son, who is now 13, and I said to him, 'Park, can you get me a beer?'" she says. "And he said, 'No I don't want to.' And I said, 'Really why not?' And he says, 'Because you know what, I think you drink too much beer...Lately I think it's too much.'
"I [told my son], 'You know, when I was a kid -- when I was 22 -- I stopped drinking for, like, eight years.' He goes, 'Well maybe you should do that again.' I go, 'Well honey what happens if I can't do that?'
Parker suggests his adopted mom join Alcoholics Anonymous. "He said, 'There's a drunk club. I forget what it's called, but you have to, like, be really drunk to get in. I don't know if they'd let you in, but you could ask them for tips,'" O'Donnell says.

Kate Winslet Makes The Worst Dressed List!
Oscar winner Kate Winslet already made one worst dressed list - her daughter's!
After being named best actress on Sunday, she phoned her children backstage. Her 8-year-old daughter, Mia, couldn't get over Winslet's Yves St. Laurent asymmetric evening gown.
"I said, 'Hi, Mia, did you jump up and down?'" she said on The Oprah Winfrey Show Monday. "[Mia] says: 'Yes, I did, Mum, I did. I need to talk to you about the dress — it was gray.' She was absolutely mortified I wore a gray dress."
Winslet told Winfrey she didn't want a lot of dresses being sent to her.
"I think in this time in the economy, it's just not nice to have people make lots of dresses and you just wear one out of a possible five," she said. "So Yves St. Laurent very kindly said, 'We'd like to make something for you,' and that was what we did."
Getting on stage to accept her Oscar was "an out-of-body experience."Added the actress, "You just think, 'This can't be happening.'"
Now she can't stop staring her her statue."Isn't he cute?" she asked Winfrey as she held her Oscar. "I keep sort of looking at him … and looking at every little piece. Very nice bottom."
Winslet said you won't be seeing that much of her on the big screen from now on."I have done quite a lot of nudity, and I feel like my kids — they're 8 and 5 now — maybe they're going to start to become aware of the amount of nudity I've done," she says. "I just sort of feel like I can't get away with it that much longer."

Britney Spears Dad Accuses Her Ex-Manager Of Grounding Medication In Her Food
Under her father's care and control, Britney Spears now lives a protected life, her access even to telephones strictly restricted. So when the 27-year-old pop star managed to get a prepaid cell phone recently, her security team confiscated it from her purse while she was at a dance practice.
Confronted, she revealed the phone was given to her by someone during a hotel stay. And that person, she disclosed, got it from two men whom her father wants to keep permanently in the singer's troubled past: ex-manager Sam Lutfi and former boyfriend, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib.
Jamie Spears described the cellular phone incident in testimony Monday in a Los Angeles court as he sought to maintain a restraining order against Lutfi, whom Jamie has claimed harassed Britney and has sought to undermine Jamie's legal control over her life.
"When [Lutfi] was in so-called control, she'd lost everything – her kids and career," Jamie said at the hearing. "I believe he's a predator, I believe he's very dangerous to her ... and causes her a lot of anguish and disbelief. We've asked him to go away before, and now he's coming back. We just want the man to go away. Just leave us alone."
In court papers, Lutfi 34, denies he's been harassing Spears, countering that it's been Spears reaching out to him – not the other way around – by sending him text messages even though court orders forbid her from doing so. Lutfi does admit that he's passed messages on to her through her hairdresser and others, including Ghalib, 36, but argues that the messages weren't harmful in any way.
But Jamie Spears testified about a series of what he called threatening text messages he received last month from someone with the screen name "citygalin310," who he was later "100 percent" sure was Lutfi.
Without divulging details, Spears said the texts appeared to be someone "trying to extort my daughter." He replied to the messages by saying, "What are you looking for? Our family has been through so much." Fifteen minutes after receiving those texts, Jamie said Lutfi called him.
"[Sam] began to cry and he basically fell apart on the phone," said Jamie. Lutfi complained that the Spears family statements against him "were giving him a bad name," Jamie said. "He went on and on. He said he knew what was wrong with [Britney]."
Lutfi wanted to meet with Jamie to discuss her situation, but Jamie declined and referred Lutfi to his lawyer, Jamie testified.
Jamie also revealed why his daughter locked herself in a bathroom with son Jayden, leading to her first hospitalization last year. "She was told by Lutfi she could have her children for another night," Jamie said. But when a bodyguard for her ex-husband Kevin Federline arrived to get the children, "She didn't want to let her kids go because she thought she could have them for another night," Jamie said.
He then somberly described his daughter during that night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as "kind of wild" and "just very messed up." Before he took legal control, he testified, Britney's life "was pretty well a disaster. She had nothing going on, just mostly [being] in the tabloids." But today she's "very stable, making her meetings, taking care of her babies, doing things she's supposed to do," he said.
In cross-examination, Lutfi's attorney Bryan Freedman pointed out that Spears's father only knew of one outgoing call to Lutfi's number. Spears testified that he didn't know whether Lutfi answered the line or not. Lutfi's lawyer denied to PEOPLE that Lutfi was the user of screen name "citygalin310."
The hearing will resume Wednesday with more testimony from other witnesses

Michelle Williams Hopes Matilda Will Not Follow In Her Parents Footsteps
Despite having two actors as parents – and, in the case of her late father, Heath Ledger, an Oscar winner – Michelle Williams's little girl, Matilda, will not grow up in Hollywood, her mother insists.
In fact, Williams, 28, hopes that Matilda, 3, will one day become a doctor. Not that Matilda doesn't have ideas of her own. Her mother admits that currently she wants to be a cowgirl.
With an eye to taking some time from movie work, Williams tells the U.K.'s Daily Telegraph that she is currently very much a stay-at-home mom. Williams also says that would not raise her daughter in Los Angeles "for all the obvious reasons. Being an actor's daughter. It's a town that's about one thing, and I want her to have options."
Williams spoke in detail for the first time late last year about missing Ledger – who was found dead in a New York apartment on Jan. 22, 2008 – and said that her grief "just gets worse."
For Williams, life at the moment is one of "cooking, baking, cleaning and sewing," she tells the Telegraph. "As a young actress, you feel this intense pressure to work. Everybody says, 'The time is now.' But I can be 28 and take a year off. Hopefully they'll still be something to go back to."
Being an actress "comes with so much baggage," says the Wendy and Lucy star. "It used to be a refuge and now it's a hassle." As for her career future, she adds, "I'll be happy making movies for $300,000 for the rest of my life if the roles are interesting."

Octopulet Mom To Lose Her House March 5!
Nadya Suleman could be kicked out of her home in less than two weeks, a source close to the Octo Mom confirms.
The source says that the house is set to be auctioned off on March 5. The Whittier, Calif., residence is actually owned by Suleman's mother, Angela, who has not paid the bungalow's mortgage in 10 months. She owed more than $23,000 in back payments. Suleman and her 14 children do not have a plan for where they will live once the house is gone, the source tells Us.
The source also confirms that Suleman made up the father's name -- David Solomon -- on her children's birth certificates. His name is not David Solomon, the source says, adding that Suleman chose the name for its biblical reference and that she and the sperm donor signed an agreement before the birth of the children.
"It was signed a long time ago," says the source. "Only Nadya and the sperm donor know the exact details."
Despite Suleman telling Dateline that she hopes the father would be involved in the parenting, the source maintains that she won't reveal his name.
"She had just had all the babies [at the time of the interview]," the source says. "Her hormones were likely raging, but at this point, it doesn't look like he will ever be involved."
The source also says the father is "definitely not" Dennis Beaudoin, the man went on Good Morning America Monday claiming he was the donor in question.
Suleman confirmed exclusively on Sunday that Beaudoin was not the father of any of her children, despite having donated sperm for her in vitro fertilization.

Jade Goody who has only weeks to live, wanted to make her dream wedding come true and she's done just that! She wanted this to be a day her sons, Bobby Jack, 5, and Freddie, 4, would remember forever. Jade said to a pal, "I will be watching my boys from heaven. I’ve told my family I will be the brightest star."
Following advice from specialist grief counselors, Jade has labeled her cancer cells as "tadpoles," to help her young sons better understand what is going on. Jade told her boys, "The tadpoles are getting stronger." She's told her oldest son that she won't be around much longer, but has kept that from Freddie as he's still too young to understand.
A friend said, "She hasn't told Bobby explicitly that she's going to die, but she had no choice but to tell him she's certainly not getting any better."
Jade wanted her wedding day to be a day her little boys would cherish and remember - she's so afraid that they'll forget her.
Her rep said the wedding ceremony was filled with "tears and laughter."Jade arrived late for her 12:30 p.m. wedding, as is tradition and her rep said, "They are now man and wife." "It was lovely. The chapel was absolutely beautiful and I imagine there must be close to 200 people there. When they came out having signed the register they got a standing ovation from everybody there. It was just a very heart-rending, happy ceremony with lots of tears and lots of smiles and lots of laughter."
He added that Jade was excited about today, but needed medical attention the night before. However, Jade was able to stand for 45 minutes of the ceremony and asked to sit for the final five minutes.

Madonna Continues Her Focus On Helping Malawi Children
Long after adopting her son David Banda from the African nation of Malawi, songstress Madonna is still focusing her efforts on helping the hundreds of children left behind; For the mom of three, donating her youngest boy’s boxes of clothes seemed the perfect solution.
A sure sign that 3-year-old David is thriving with his family, a source says that the wardrobe Madonna initially bought for her son was packed away with the toddler having outgrown his outfits.
“These are clothes David can no longer use; they say he is quite a big boy now so he cannot use most of the clothes Madonna bought him immediately after he was adopted,” the source reveals.
Shipping the boxes of dapper duds to David’s orphanage, Home of Hope — appropriately labeled ‘From David Ritchie to friends at Home of Hope’ — left the 500 orphans with quite a surprise!
“The children were excited to see the clothes,” says the source. In addition to David’s clothes, books, and toys, the proud mama also included a few autographed copies of her own children’s book, The English Roses.
While the director of the orphanage has not confirmed that the packages are from Madonna and David — “we have lots of friends across the globe who send us stuff from time to time” — the 50-year-old singer has dedicated her resources to assisting six Malawi orphanages through her charity Raising Malawi.
