The family, including son Rafferty, 12, has been on holiday below the equator since just after Christmas.

Jude, 36, and Sadie, 43, finalized their divorce in 2003. Sadie also has a son, Finlay Munro, 18, from a previous marriage.

Update:John Travolta's 16-Year-Old Son Dies

TMZ has spoke with John Travolta's lawyer and close friend, Michael McDermott, and family attorney Michael Ossi, both of whom are with John in the Bahamas.

They tell TMZ it appears Jett's fatal injury was the result of hitting his head on the bathtub, toilet seat, or both. And they say the intimation that Jett went undiscovered for hours is absolutely false.

Police have said the last time anyone saw Jett was when he went to the bathroom on January 1. His body was discovered by nanny Jeff Kathrein the next day at 10 AM. In fact, McDermott and Ossi say it appears Jett went back and forth to his room and the fatal injury occurred "very shortly" before Jett was found on the bathroom floor -- McDermott called it a "small window of time."

McDermott and Ossi tell us two nannies were present on the trip and Jeff was by his side 24/7. There was a baby monitor device by Jett's side and there was also a chimer in the bathroom when the door opened.

McDermott and Ossi say it is still unclear if Jett fell to the floor as a result of a seizure or if he had a seizure after falling or slipping. There was blood on the floor of the bathroom, but "not a tremendous amount." It appears the striking of Jett's head was the cause of death, though it won't be clear until the autopsy is performed Monday morning.

Jett's body will be embalmed Monday afternoon. There will be a local showing on Tuesday and later that day the body will be flown to Ocala, Fla. for burial.

McDermott says both John and Kelly are night owls. John often goes to sleep at around 5 AM. But McDermott says both nannies were at the hotel and Jeff always present.McDermott tells us a hotel manager was first on scene with Jeff and the two of them administered CPR. John came in shortly thereafter and John took over for a "substantial period of time [and] was performing CPR and continued that until EMT came and took over."McDermott says as for Travolta and Preston, the pain is "unimaginable and unquantifiable."

UPDATE: The Grand Bahamas health minister confirms that the autopsy will be conducted by two pathologists to ensure a proper evaluation has been made. A clinical and forensic pathologist from Nassau, that is U.S. certified, will fly into Grand Bahama on Monday to help perform the autopsy.

"We are over the moon with the arrival of this healthy, beautiful baby," Palin said in a statement posted Wednesday. "The road ahead for this young couple will not be easy, but nothing worthwhile is ever easy.

"They are both hard workers, they're very strong, and have faith they've made the right decision in setting aside their own interests to make this child their highest priority.

Kelly Rutherford Files For Divorce

The pregnant Gossip Girl actress Kelly Rutherford filed for divorce Friday from her husband of two years, Daniel Giersch, TMZ.com reports.

Rutherford -- who plays Blake Lively's mom Lily van der Woodsen on the CW series -- is about three months pregnant with her second child. The couple welcomed son Hermes Gustaf Daniel Giersch two years ago.

The actress cites irreconcibale differences on the paperwork, which was submitted to a judge at Los Angeles Superior Court.

Rutherford, 40, split from Carlos Tarajano in 2001 after just five months of marriage.

Forget trainers and two-hour gym workouts. Kate Winslet has another secret to her movie-star figure: 20 minutes and a DVD. Winslet, who at 33 is a slim size 6 (UK size 10), tells the UK edition of Elle that "I don't go to the gym because I don’t have time, but I do Pilates workout DVDs for 20 minutes or more every day at home."

Winslet says, she's been the same since she had her second child, Joe, five years ago. "I still don't believe this craziness for being skinny, but I eat sensibly and I don't stuff down chocolate biscuits," she tells the magazine in its February edition.

Despite a set of stunning, sexy shots in Elle that show off her body, she is modest about her shape, calling herself "pretty average." She adds, "I have cellulite, I have a rumply tummy and my boobs have dropped. I did think that post-kids, my sex scenes days were over."

Far from it. Both her current movies – Revolutionary Road, directed by her second husband Sam Mendes, 43, and costarring Leonardo DiCaprio, and The Reader – contain sex scenes.

Winslet also talks about her enduring friendship with DiCaprio, the Titanic costar with whom she broke box-office records a decade ago. "He's part of the family and I love that he's matured into this kind, dedicated man. When we work together we instinctively know what the other one is thinking."

As for the legacy of Titanic, the English-born New Yorker says she has an "absolute fear" that her daughter Mia, 8, is now old enough to watch the biggest movie of her mom's career while on a playdate. Dr. Dre's Son Died Of Heroin & Morphine Overdose

Dr. Dre's son, Andre Young Jr., died from an overdose of heroin and morphine, the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner confirmed to PEOPLE on Friday.

"This case has been closed, it's been ruled an accident due to morphine and heroin intoxication," coroner spokesman Larry Dietz told PEOPLE. The drug test results had been pending for four months.

Young, 20, was found unresponsive by his mother, Jenita Porter, 40, in their Woodland Hills, Calif., home on the morning of Aug. 23.Paramedics pronounced Young – who was remembered by friends as an optimistic young man – dead at the scene.

Porter told investigators that her son had been out with friends that night, and she recalled hearing him snoring around 5:30 a.m. "Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son," the rapper's publicist Lori Earl previously said in a statement. "Please respect his family's grief and privacy at this time."

John Travolta's Son Dies At Age 16

Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of actor John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston, died Friday while on vacation with his family in the Bahamas.

Jett had suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island, said Michael Ossi, a lawyer for the family, in a statement through Travolta's rep.

The teen hit his head in a bathtub Friday morning and was declared dead at Rand Memorial Hospital, police spokeswoman Loretta Mackey told the Associated Press.

According to police, a caretaker had found Jett unconscious in the bathroom around 10 a.m. An autopsy is being pursued to determine the exact cause of death.

Jett, who is the only son of Travolta, 54, and Preston, 46, had a history of seizures, according to Ossi. The couple also have a daughter, Ella Bleu, 8.The death was first reported by TMZ.

In 2003 Preston told Montel Williams that when Jett was 2 he became "very, very ill, but it seemed like flu symptoms" before being diagnosed with Kawasaki disease. The condition, which usually affects children from ages 2 to 5, can cause inflammation of the arteries. Usually treatable, it can lead to lasting heart damage in rare cases.

Preston, who also said Jett suffered from asthma, blamed household cleaners, fertilizers and pesticides for sparking the condition and lobbied for more detailed labeling on chemical products. She credited a detoxification program based on the writings of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard with helping to improve Jett's health.

In November Jett joined his dad in Paris, where Travolta has been shooting From Paris with Love. In 1994 the actor told PEOPLE how much he loved fatherhood. "I can't imagine what life would be like without Jett," he said. "After he was born and cleaned up, I held him for hours while Kelly slept. When they came to take him away for various tests, I said, 'No, you can't see him today. You'll have to do it another day.' I went a little nutsy."

President-elect Barack Obama, who is dad to Malia, 10 and Sasha, 7, has been named 2009 Father of the Year by the Fatherhood Education Institute because of his efforts to encourage parenting skills and responsibility.


The FEI says that Obama is "a champion of fatherhood and male involvement." He was chosen as well, because of his re-introduction of the Responsible Fatherhood and Healthy Families Act.


Barack is quoted as saying, "One of the things I want to do as president is to use the bully pulpit to say men, 'You have to get involved in your child's life. It will make a difference not only in their lives, but in yours.'"

The Wolffs, who live in Omaha, Neb., run a weight loss and self-improvement program called Reality Wellness. They also help organize local competitions, such as Shape Up Omaha, focused on getting folks fit.

Amy, who is three months along, is being careful about her diet and exercise as she goes through her pregnancy. "So many friends have had to battle weight gain during pregnancy," she says. "They all have told me to watch out, it happens so quickly, and I'm like, 'I know!' I am cautious. I haven't gained any weight yet. I feel like the luckiest pregnant girl ever."

Mia Farrow's Loses Her Daughter Christmas Day

Lark Previn, the Vietnamese-born adopted daughter of Mia Farrow and musician Andre Previn, died on Christmas Day, the medical examiner said Monday.

Lark Previn, 35, a mother of two girls, had been ailing for a decade. A cause of death was not released.

Her two daughters, Sara, 13, and Christine, 12, sat in the front row at her wake last night at a Brooklyn funeral home.

Lark Previn and her sister, Daisy, 34, were the first of Farrow's multiethnic gaggle of adopted kids.

Reportedly they are heading to Ethiopa to add another orphan to their well-loved brood, but as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt await this seventh child, they're struggling with the news that they may never have another biological baby, sources say.

OK! has learned that because Angie's last two pregnancies were so fraught with complications, she has been advised to wait a long time before getting pregnant again – or not to get pregnant at all.

"Her previous pregnancies ended with emergency caesarian secions," an insider tells OK!. "She's been told that, at the least, she should not get pregnant for a year after her last deliver, and it would be safer if she did not get pregnant, ever."

The health complications this time around could pose a direct danger to the Changeling star, Dr. Larrian Gillespie, who has not treated Angie, tells OK!.

"Angelina is at risk of having a stroke or heart attack, and because she developed gestational diabetes, there is a high risk she'll have it again, with the child being at risk for diabetes."
Not being a biological mom again might be hard for Angelina, as she revealed to Vanity Fair last year that she loves being pregnant.

"It makes me feel like a woman," she said. "Also, I happen to be with someone who finds pregnancy very sexy."

Bristol Palin, the 18-year-old daughter of former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, gave birth on Sunday to a healthy 7 lb., 4 oz., baby boy in Palmer, Alaska.

"We think it's wonderful," said Colleen Jones, the sister of Bristol's grandmother Sally Heath, who confirmed the news. "The baby is fine and Bristol is doing well. Everyone is excited."

The baby's name is Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, according to Jones.

Baby Tripp takes his surname from his dad, Levi Johnston, an apprentice electrician and former Wasilla High School hockey player who has been dating Bristol for three years.
