Brad Pitt Quit Smoking Pot For His Kids

Brad Pitt played a pot smoker in 1993's True Romance and admits life imitated art for him until just recently.

"I certainly had my day," Pitt, 45, told HBO's Bill Maher in an interview Friday after the Real Time host called the actor's role "one of the best stoner performances."

Maher -- who was grilling the actor on his upcoming flick Inglorious Basterds -- also recounted a New Year's Eve party at which he says he witnessed Pitt rolling "the most perfect" joints he had ever seen. Pitt's cheeky response? "I'm an artist."

Pitt admits he kicked the habit for his six kids -- Maddox, 7, Pax, 5, Zahara, 4, Shiloh, 3, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 1 -- whom he has with partner Angelina Jolie.

"I'm a dad now. You want to be alert and my eyes used to glaze over when I did that," he told Maher.

The actor recently told Parade magazine his smoking got in the way of work. "I liked to smoke a bit of grass at the time, and I became very sheltered. Then I got bored," he told the magazine. "I was turning into a damn doughnut, really. So I moved as far away from that as I could. I was done."

Jon And Kate Reunite One Day After Huge Fight

Jon and Kate Gosselin met up Friday -- one day after they got into such a heated argument, police forced Kate to leave their home.

As Kate walked up to their $1.1 million house Friday afternoon, she got a big hug from one of her twins. But she and Jon appeared somewhat strained when they chatted shortly after. Kate defensively placed her hand on her chest, while one of their twins and a few of their sextuplets looked toward the ground with serious faces. One sextuplet is seen wiping her eyes in a photo. So sad!

After the meet up, Jon drove away. The former couple have said they will trade off living in their estate depending on who has custody of the children.

On Thursday evening, police ordered Kate to leave their home after she showed up unexpectedly and Jon refused to open the gate for her. "It was a miscommunication. Kate said she was coming home, and I said, 'Well, it's my time to spend with the kids.' I don't come home when she's with the kids, and vice versa -- and that's how it's supposed to be," Jon explained, adding that Kate tried to "cry it up" to convince the cop to let her stay.

In an interview today, Jon said Kate had a problem with nanny Stephanie Santoro (a 23-year-old single mother who also works as a "shooter girl" selling shots at local club Legends). Us has reported the pair had a sexy sleepover on Aug. 1. "I guess she didn't agree with my babysitting," he admitted.

Kendra Wilkinson Reveals New Do And Shares Babies Name

Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett have decided on a baby name. The parents will name their newborn son after his father: Hank Baskett IV.

"Hank and I have soooo much to do to prepare for our baby's arrival, but one thing we can already cross off our list is coming up with a name," Wilkinson posted on her blog today. "We've already decided to name our son Hank Baskett IV!!! Hank's dad and his grandfather were both named Hank, so it was very important to us to carry on the family tradition," she added. "I can't wait to meet my little Hank."

Wilkinson is due on Christmas day.

The E! reality star also debuted a new haircut on her blog today.
"So the other day I realized I needed a new look so I decided to go with the mommy haircut. I chopped off my hair to my shoulders!!!!! AHHHHHHH LOL," she blogged. "I really like it…it's so much easier to manage and in a few months I'm definitely not going to have much time to deal with my hair so this is definitely a great change," she added.

John Edwards To Admit Fathering Mistress' Child

Former Democratic Presidential and Vice Presidential candidate John Edwards is expected to admit that he is the father of the 18-month-old daughter of former mistress Rielle Hunter, according to a new report.

Edwards has copped to the affair but has denied that he fathered the child, whose name is Frances.

Last week, Hunter testified at the federal courthouse where a grand jury is investigating whether campaign funds were illegally used to buy her silence. Edwards could admit he's the baby's father before the investigation concludes, according to North Carolina CBS affiliate WRAL.

North Carolina CBS affiliate WRAL also reports that longtime Edwards aide Andrew Young (who initially claimed paternity) is now writing a book in which he will say Edwards is the girl's actual father.

In May, John Edwards' wife Elizabeth told Oprah Winfrey she has "no idea" if her husband is the baby's father. Asked about the speculation, Elizabeth said, "I've seen a picture of the baby. I have no idea. It doesn't look like my children, but I don't have any idea."

Jon & Kate Plus 911!

Police were called to Jon and Kate Gosselin's $1.1 million home in Wernersville, Pa., Thursday after the reality stars got into a heated fight.

Kate arrived at the home (it was reportedly ex Jon's time to be with the kids) because she did not approve of the baby-sitter. Photographers on site claimed Kate was "locked out" of her house.

Around 6 p.m. Thursday, police arrived at the Gosselin family home in Wernersville, Pa., where the exes were engaged in a verbal argument. A source close to Kate Gosselin confirms she called police.

"[Police] got there and calmed the situation down," an officer tells People. "No one was arrested and no citations were issued. "Another source says Kate called the house to find out which babysitter was helping with the children. When she didn't approve of the caretaker, an argument with Jon ensued.

"Due to the custody agreement, Kate couldn't enter the property," the source says. "The cops had no choice but to tell Kate she couldn't go past the gate."

Distraught and in tears, Kate left and checked in to a nearby hotel.

She'd rather not have her emotional life be so public, but she says, "It's not like I can put the tears on hold. So I try to cry very incognito, behind my sunglasses. And after those tears, there's always the feeling of, 'how did I get here?' "

Mike Tyson Opens Up About Daughters Death

More than two months after his daughter's death, Mike Tyson says he's still "going through a process [and] trying to heal."

"I am in denial, because I don't know how to handle it," Tyson tells Entertainment Tonight. "I don't know what to do or say."

The boxing champ's 4-year-old daughter Exodus died May 26 after accidentally strangling herself on a cord from a treadmill at home in Arizona.

Tyson describes the tragedy as "a dark moment in my life," adding that he beat "myself up over my daughter" and stayed in his home depressed. "I am working with dealing with it," he tells the TV show. "I have become a member of an exclusive club no one wants to join. I have been told the pain never stops but you get over it."

One way Tyson has been coping – getting back to work, which includes an appearance on the new FOX series Brothers. Says Tyson, who also delivered a hilarious turn in this summer's big-screen hit The Hangover, "[Acting] keeps me functioning as a healthy human being."

Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian Confirms Father's Identity

Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian revealed the identity of her baby's father on the Today show this morning: Scott Disick.

The E! reality star and Disick split in February, but recently reunited, Kourtney said. "He's very excited. When I found out, I was so shocked. I didn't know what to do. He was so for it and so excited from the beginning. And we're really happy," Kourtney added.

When asked about marriage, Kourtney -- who is due in December -- said, "We'll see."

Kim Kardashian says she can't wait to be an aunt. "Everyone is so excited for this new journey in our life," Kim, 28, told Us at the Svedka Vodka Adult Playground 2033 party in L.A. Wednesday.
"It's the first addition to the Kardashian clan, and we only wish that our dad could be here and experience this with us," Kim went on. Her father, Robert Kardashian, a prominent lawyer who defended O.J. Simpson, died of esophageal cancer in September 2003. (Mom Kris split from him in 1989, and wed Bruce Jenner in 1991.) "Everything like this, huge things that happen in our life, is a little bit bittersweet, but we're all so excited," Kim added.

Kate Gosselin Returns Home PA To Find Hecklers Waiting For Her

After a brief press tour in NYC, Kate Gosselin returned home to her eight kids in Wernersville, Pa., Wednesday (August 12). A few hecklers were waiting for her.

Outside her $1.1 million home, one man held a sign that read, "It's not Jon. It's not Kate. The only losers are the 8."

Each day, several fans pop by, some even driving as far as four hours to catch a peek at the reality show family. And they all arrive with their own set of opinions.

Some praise Kate for being an independent woman and Jon for being a devoted dad. Others slam them for putting their kids on TV during such a difficult time. "I think the parents are wrong to put the kids through all this," Richard Jenkins, of Fort Dix, N.J., told Us Wednesday outside the Gosselin home. "They should just let them be kids and keep them away from all this stuff."

On Wednesday, Kate didn't seem to notice any fans, as there were many visitors moving in and out of the house. Two different nannies or staffers went grocery shopping and ran errands for her Wednesday. Many UPS boxes were also brought into the house.

Later in the day, it appeared that Kate and the kids were having a picnic, as many bags of groceries were carted outside. By 8 p.m., all was quiet at the house.

"I stand by that," he told Curry. "Some day, it won't always be there. I don't look forward to that day... The greater the love, the greater the loss, I think the saying goes."

Pitt also took time to state, for the record, he'd likely never enter public office. Despite several citizens banding together to get him elected mayor of the Big Easy (they even made "Brad Pitt for Mayor" T-shirts), he joked that he'd never win.

"I'm running on the gay marriage, no religion, legalization and taxation of marijuana platform," he playfully replied. "I don't have a chance."

Pressed by Curry to give a more serious answer, he added, "I don't have a chance. It's not what I do best."

Jerry O'Connell Is On Mr. Mom Duty

While Rebecca Romijn plays witch by day – she is currently promoting her new fall series, Eastwick – and mother by night, her husband Jerry O'Connell has happily stepped up to the plate in his own new role: Mr. Mom.

With the couple welcoming their fraternal twin daughters Charlie and Dolly seven months ago, and the actress filming the pilot shortly after their birth, the girls were brought along for the ride. "They were with me every second of the day," said Romijn. "I was still nursing and I was on a real strict schedule with them."

Now prepared to begin regular filming on her series, Romijn says that O'Connell has taken a hiatus from his own career to take care of the girls. "Now that we’ve gone back to work, Jerry has taken off" the last three weeks, she says. "So he can be the parent [on] diaper duty!"

For O'Connell, the past few days of quality time with his daughters have not been well spent – given that the girls are in full teething mode. "They're both in pain," says their mother. "Their teeth are about to cut through." As the twins work on their latest milestone, Rommijn, 36, can't help but laugh when prompted about old family teething remedies. "Whiskey and brown sugar, right? Just like grandma used to do."

Kourtney Kardashian And On-Again Off-Again Boyfriend Scott Disick

E! Online broke the news yesterday that Kourtney Kardashian is expecting her first child.

"We were in the Everglades and I kept feeling nauseous and sick," Kourtney tells E!. "I just kept thinking something wasn't right. ... I went to the doctor and he confirmed the news. I was just so shocked." She says the baby is due "right around Christmas time."

Kardashian adds that her mother is "really excited." She didn't say who the father was.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 30 – whose spin-off show with younger sister Khloe, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, premieres Sunday – was previously linked to Scott Disick (pictured above).

The on-again, off-again couple reportedly broke up in January, but have been spotted spending time together since then. The two hung out in the Hamptons in July, where they enjoyed dinner and, according to a source, Disick introduced Kardashian as his girlfriend when a pal stopped by their table.

Mel Gibson's Pregnant GF Unsure About Marriage

In her first television interview since going public with Mel Gibson, Oksana Grigorieva tells CNN she isn't sure she'll wed the 53-year-old actor.

"We don't know yet," says Grigorieva, 39, who is pregnant with Gibson's baby. "We haven't really talked about it."

She also says they have opted not to learn the sex of the child. "I'm already buying things in gender-neutral colors. It's very cute," says Grigorieva, who also has a 12-year-old son, Alexander, with actor Timothy Dalton.

Grigorieva, who is signed to Gibson's record label, was first photographed with Gibson in 2008 on the set of his movie Edge of Darkness. They made their first public appearance together at a Los Angeles screening of X-Men Origins: Wolverine on April 28 - the same month Gibson and his wife of nearly 30 years (and mother of his seven children), Robyn, filed for divorce.

Despite intense scrutiny, Grigorieva says her relationship with Gibson has inspired her music. The actor directed four of her music videos. "If you think about it, every talent needs a serious push and help from somebody who is stronger, because it's pretty much impossible for anybody to succeed in this industry," she says. "So I've become very lucky, and I'm very grateful."

Adds Grigorieva, "You don't control the situations or the people you meet. I did not plan this. I'm just doing what I've always been doing. It's not like I've changed my goals at all."

We're still not sure if the final purchase will be for Jon, Hailey or both. We hear Jon's unhappy with his new BMW and Hailey wants a Porsche.

Tom Brady Hopes For "Lots Of Kids" With Wife Gisele Bundchen

Despite his status as football's golden boy, not everything goes according to plan for Tom Brady.

In December 2006, Brady split with actress Bridget Moynahan, who was in her first trimester of pregnancy. The baby, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was born the following August. Although Brady was thrilled with his new son, he now acknowledges that the situation caught him off guard.

"That's not how you envisioned your life, that's not how you envisioned having children," he tells Details in its September Issue, "but it happens." The experience has given the 32-year-old quarterback a new philosophy about how life unfolds. "Life is not living in the suburbs with a white picket fence. That's not life," says Brady. "Somehow our American culture has made it out that that's what life needs to be – and that if it's not that, it's all screwed up. It's not. You go through life and you try the best you can."

Brady, who started dating model Gisele Bündchen weeks after splitting with Moynahan, reveals that the couple's first date was set up by a mutual friend. "This friend told me he knew a girl version of me," Brady says."And he said to me he'd found a boy version of me," Bündchen, 29, chimed in. The relationship clicked, and the couple tied the knot last April.

Bündchen is now pregnant with the couple's first child together. Will there be more children on the way? Brady hopes so. "I want a lot of kids," he says. "I'd love four or five." But like everyone who has seen life take them in a different direction, Brady continues, "We'll see. It's not always my decision."

Brad And Angelina Talk About Their Sex Life

Last week Brad Pitt sent tongues wagging when he told Parade that the secret stone grotto behind the waterfall in his pool is "a great place for sex." Now, Angelina Jolie says that's not their only secret hideaway.

"Yeah, well, we got a few special places," she told Extra on the red carpet at Pitt's Inglourious Basterds premiere Monday in Hollywood. "You keep it going."

Added Pitt, "It's not true. We have far more comfortable places to go. There is a grotto there. It's an old Hollywood property... just a few minutes that way... and rumor is Jimi Hendrix spent some time there. That's the story. I run with it."

He also said he and Jolie "rarely, rarely" fight. "We both have been around long enough and have been in enough relationships to know what we want out of it to know when we're wasting time," he said.

Jolie said she was thrilled that Pitt told Parade she was his "soulmate."Said the actress (and mother of six), "That is very cool. Well, he's mine. It is what it is."
