Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell's Son Hospitalized

The 6-year-old son of Backstreet Boys singer Brian Littrell has been hospitalized for an undisclosed illness, according to the singer's Web site.

"Baylee Littrell has been in the hospital for the past few days," says a message posted Thursday on brianlittrell.com. "He will be starting a treatment this afternoon and the Littrell family asks that all Backstreet Boys fans please remember him in prayer during this trying time."

Littrell, 33, and his actress wife Leighanne, 39, met on the set of the Boys' 1997 video "As Long as You Love Me." The two were married in September 2000, and welcomed their son two years later.

Breaking News: Remains Found Were Missing Toddler Kaylee Anthony

Officials confirmed Friday that the skeletal remains discovered in the woods last week belong to missing 2-year-old girl Caylee Anthony.

"With regret, I am here to inform you that the skeletal remains found … are those of the missing toddler Caylee Anthony," medical examiner Dr. Jan Gervais told reporters during a 2 p.m. press conference in Orlando, Fla.

The announcement came after an FBI forensic lab in Virginia matched the child's DNA with bones discovered near her grandparents' home. According to Gervais, "The cause of death will be listed as homicide by undetermined means." "While I would love to explain the forensic aspects of this case to you ... we must remember that everyone is innocent until proven guilty," Gervais said.

Anthony's mother, Casey Anthony, 22, was notified in an Orange County jail, where she is awaiting trial on murder charges stemming from her daughter's disappearance in June.

Anthony waited five weeks to report her child missing and maintained that she left Caylee with a babysitter who abducted her.

On Dec. 11, a utility worker discovered the remains of a child in a plastic bag.

Tom Cruise Suprised Katie Holmes With A Birthday To Remember

Katie Holmes spent her 30th birthday performing in the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons – but her big day did not go unnoticed.

As the curtain fell Thursday, the cast and crew presented her with a specially-made birthday cake, a surprise orchestrated by her husband,Tom Cruise.

Addressing the audience, Holmes's costar John Lithgow announced, "Tom Cruise, our good friend, devoted fan to the show, doting husband of Katie, could not be here tonight. He's heartsick that he couldn't be here ... but he wanted to make his presence felt. So, he's joining us, inviting all of you, to celebrate Katie's birthday."

And with that, crewmembers wheeled out a five-tiered, white-frosted, birthday cake as the crowd cheered and applauded.

"I planned it so that when she comes out for the standing ovation, John [would] get the whole audience to wish her a happy birthday," Cruise – who was in Los Angeles to premiere his new film, Valkyrie – told PEOPLE, just as the surprise was sprung.

"It's going to be great," he said, adding that they'd already had a private celebration the night before. ("That was the big one," he noted.)

Suri helped too! Holmes brought her 2-year-old daughter on stage as the cast encouraged the entire audience to sing "Happy Birthday."

Together, the mother-daughter duo blew out the candles. Speaking softly, Holmes graciously thanked the audience, saying, "Thank you for coming out to the show tonight. It was a real pleasure."

The cast and crew then disappeared offstage, where they enjoyed dessert and champagne, courtesy of Cruise. Meanwhile, across the country, Tom was waiting anxiously to hear how his elaborate plan played out. "I'm waiting to talk to her now," he said, "to see her reaction."

Brad Pitt turns 45!
His new movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button -- not his latest milestone -- has gotten the actor thinking about his life.

In the fantasy drama -- for which he scored a Screen Actors Guild Award nod this morning -- Pitt ages backwards with strange consequences.

"I was actually quite intrigued to see where it might be heading. I doubt time and gravity will be as kind as I was to myself," he said in an interview with The Los Angeles Times on Wednesday.

"It just made me think about the ticking clock. Am I in mid-life? Am I halfway there? Do I have 10 years, five years?" he went on. "And so what are those moments going to be that I do know I have, which is now?"

Pitt also recently told Rolling Stone he's been thinking about his own mortality.

"Angie [Jolie] and I do not fight anymore," he says. "What occurred to me on this film, and also with the passing of her mother [actress Marcheline Bertrand in 2007], is that there's going to come a time when I'm not going to get to be with this person anymore.

Said the actor, "I'm not going to get to be with my children anymore. Or friends, people I love and respect. And so, if we have a flare-up, it evaporates now."

Donald Trump's Son Is Guilty Of Christmas Re-Gifting!

"Look, I've been re-gifted presents that I've given my family," Donald Trump Jr., 30, says in the Dec. 21 issue of Page Six Magazine.

"They're like, 'Oh, great, thanks!' and then you end up getting it back the next year," he adds. "It's like, 'You know I gave you this last year, right?' And they're like, 'No, it's a different one!'"

Christmas in the Trump household was not "that different" than any other family's, he says, except that "we were on the top of Trump Tower.

"We'd run downstairs and jump into our parents' bed, just like everyone else," he says of his childhood. "Then we'd go over to our grandparents' place in Queens and do lunch."

Despite being worth about $2.6 billion, "The Donald" is just a normal guy, his son says.
"He's a blue-collar guy with a big balance sheet," he says. "He wants a burger, he wants to eat his turkey and bacon -- he doesn’t want to have souffles.

"He grew up in Queens, and while he may have the fancier side of his life, when it comes down to it, he just wants to watch football on the holidays," he adds.

Donald Jr. and his wife, Vanessa, say they want to make sure their 19-month-old daughter, Kai Madison, is down to earth as well.

"Vanessa and I both grew up with the understanding that we were incredibly fortunate to be in the positions that we were in," Donald Jr. says. "I think we've got to try to instill that in the generations to come."

Joide Sweetin Drove Intoxicated With 8 Month Old Daughter In The Car

Jodie Sweetin is not allowed to see her 8-month-old daughter without supervision.

Moments ago, an Orange County, Ca. judge made the explosive ruling after Sweetin's estranged husband Cody Herpin accused the "Full House" star of being an unfit mother -- citing an alleged incident where Sweetin drove intoxicated with their baby in the car.

The couple faced off in open court today for an emergency custody hearing at Cody's request.

Jodie, an admitted meth addict and alcoholic who lives with her parents, will not be allowed to be with the child unless one of her folks is present.

A doctor also took the stand and claimed that Jodie had recently fallen off the wagon. However, the doc confirmed Jodie has been in touch with her sponsor and is attending AA meetings. The doctor said she does not believe the baby is at risk at the moment.

A judge ordered both Cody and Jodie to submit to drug tests before the next hearing.

The new issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands tomorrow, reveals the behind-the-scenes crisis going on in Jennifer Lopez's third marriage to Marc Anthony.

Rumors swirled that Lopez's marriage was on the rocks after she showed up to the premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button last week without her 8-carat diamond engagement ring, wedding band - or ever present husband, Marc Anthony (who was spotted in Las Vegas sans wedding band the weekend before).

Multiple sources confirm to to Us Weekly their marriage is at a breaking point.

"They both didn't wear their rings on purpose," a mutual pal of the married couple of four years (who renewed their vows in October) tells Us. "Nothing Jennifer does is without purpose."

While Anthony's rep insists to Us, "They are doing great," a source tells Us deep trouble has been brewing.

"He's very, very controlling of her," a close Anthony pal tells Us. "The skirts aren't as short. You don't see so much of that booty anymore." The new Us Weekly also reports that Anthony also picks out Lopez’s clothes and keeps tabs on her phone calls.

But Lopez -- who once claimed she "loved getting his opinions" -- has become less interested in his approval since the birth of their 10-month-old twins, Max and Emme.

"She walks in from work, washes her hands and grabs the babies," a longtime friend tells Us. "With him, it's almost like, 'Ugh, they're crying again?'"

Another problem: Lopez -- who once commanded $15 million per film -- "blames Marc for her career going down the tubes," says a mutual pal, adding that she's bitter about the failure of their 2006 drama, El Cantante, which only grossed $7.5 million. (Her 2002 flick Maid in Manhattan earned over $94 million.)

"Jennifer looked around and said, 'This is my life now? I'm a Long Island housewife?'" a pal says. "She hates that everything she worked for went down the tubes."

Lopez isn't the only one with growing resentment toward her husband. Her best friend, Leah Remini, also can't stand him.

"It if was up to her, Leah would just break them up today," a pal says.

Anthony has also been badmouthing his wife. One night after their tense family Thanksgiving in which the couple "didn't sit together," Anthony hit NYC hotspots Bungalow 8 and Marquee, where he was spotted with his hand on a woman's thigh and overheard complaining about his wife to a group of women, "telling them, 'She's making me miserable,'" a source says.

His club spree didn't stop there: The next night, he was photographed by TMZ.com partying sans wedding band with pal Eva Longoria Parker and Russell Crowe in Las Vegas. (A source says, "According to Jennifer, he didn't cheat.")

The pair, who hadn’t been spotted together since Oct. 23 -- and the very public removal of their wedding bands -- had dinner Tuesday at Beverly Hills restaurant Luau, which they left holding hands.

Katie Holmes is stuck working on her 30th birthday tomorrow, Tom Cruise says.
"She's going to be on stage - she's doing All My Sons on Broadway," he said Wednesday on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show.

So to help her celebrate her latest milestone, "I've got some things planned for tonight," Cruise said. "I've been surprising her throughout the week with things."

A self-described romantic, Cruise told Seacrest "you gotta think" when planning something special for a loved one.

"You gotta pay attention throughout the year ... and just know your lady," he said. "The flowers, what kind she likes ... and set it up at the right time."

He doesn't advise storing ideas in a BlackBerry.

"It's wrong, man. You can't do that," he said. "I've been working on the BlackBerry with these different things I have set up for her, and of course, she's right there and knows my BlackBerry code ... so I've been very cautious."

As for the Cruise clan's Christmas plan, he said, "We're still kind of deciding."
Holmes only has two days off next week, he noted.

"The main thing we know ... is that there's just gonna be nice family time and snuggles," he said.

"Kate always sets everything up like that. She loves it," Cruise continued. "She kind of designs our life."

The actor, who is raising six children with partner Angelina Jolie, was answering questions from Hello! magazine about his Christmas holiday plans.

Pitt, one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, said: 'We do exchange gifts, although we don't feel any pressure to make them big or expensive gifts.'

And his children do not watch much american television due to its 'manipulative adverts'.

'The kids don't ask for big gifts for the reason that they don't see a lot of the American cartoon television, which is packed with all those manipulative commercials for big toys that look so fantastic.

'When they do see that stuff is when they start asking for the toys, so we figure if they don't see them they won't know they're there.

'So we have gifts, but we try to keep the money spent to a minimum. The rule is that everyone's got to make something for someone else, you got to put time into it.'

Pitt told the magazine his children have embraced the idea that they come from different countries.

He said: 'As they're getting older, we've been coming up with some idea for a ceremony for everyone around this time, but right now, it's still at the ideas stage.'

Speaking about his family life, Pitt said cheerfully: 'We haven't found any reason to stop yet.'

He continued: 'It's chaos at times but there's also such joy in our house right now.

'I look down at the family and I see our boy from Vietnam (Pax) and our daughter from Ethiopia (Zahara) and our girl's from Namibia (Shiloh was born there) and our son who's from Cambodia (Maddox), and... they are all brothers and sisters, man.

Madonna And Guy Ritchie Call Recent Reports Regarding Divorce Settlement "Misleading And Inaccurate"

Madonna and Guy Ritchie are slamming recent stories about their divorce settlement.

The joint statement – issued in London – came two days after Madonna's U.S. rep gave the Associated Press details of the supposed deal. Liz Rosenberg said that Madonna, 50, was set to hand over cash and property worth between $76 million and $92 million, calling it "one of the largest [divorce] payouts ever."

But now the couple calls that information "misleading and inaccurate."

The statement reads:
"We have tried to maintain a dignified silence regarding the details of our divorce for the last few months whilst accepting the obvious media interest. "A misleading and inaccurate statement, specifically in relation to the sums of money involved, was wrongly issued to AP this week.
"The financial details of the settlement will remain private, save to say that both of us are happy with our agreement. "Our primary concern, like any co-parents, is the care and well being of our children."

The couple – whose divorce will become final in January – have two sons, Rocco, 8, David, 3. Madonna has a daughter, Lourdes, 12, from her relationship with Carlos Leon.

Each of her fourteen grandchildren were represented by a baby shoe with their name engraved.

When asked about the bracelet, Jane said, "Is it not beautiful? My prized posession!"

The bracelet is from jeweler Aaron Basha, who is best known for his gorgeous and delicate French enamel baby shoe charms and Evil Eye collection (which Kelly Ripa and Heidi Klum love). The company tells celebrity babies that Angelina and Brad are big fans of the line and that Brad bought some pieces for Angelina when the twins were born.

Kate Hudson may be "a hot ticket" in the dating world, according to her good friend, designer Stella McCartney, but the actress says she's in no rush to jump into a relationship.

"I'm actually enjoying being single right now because I really never have been," Hudson – who's dated Lance Armstrong and Owen Wilson – tells InStyle magazine for its January issue.

"I'd love it. I'd love it," he told Usmagazine.com at the NYC premiere of Valkyrie on Monday. "Acting is ... a great life to get to entertain people and create characters and stories."
No matter what his children do, "They have the life that I wanted," Cruise said. "I always wanted to travel the world, to be developed by different cultures, learn about their history.

"So that's how I raised my kids -- that they have full exposure to the world and all different kinds of ideas and philosophies so that they can make choices for themselves," he went on. "I support them in whatever choices they want to make.

"But I do have a thing," Cruise said. "If you're going to do it, really do it. Don't be casual about it."

Suri is already finding ways to express herself through words.

"Her vocabulary is great," Cruise said. "The ones that we love are, 'I love you.' I love hearing 'I love you, dada. I love you, mama.'"

He said she had one issue with his new World War II thriller Valkyrie: She didn't like his eye patch.

"Suri would come up and take it off," he says. "Suri would be in the make-up trailer, and she'd pull my patch off. So the girls in the make-up trailer got a little teddy bear with a patch on it, and they gave it to her to play with, so she got used to the patch on the teddy bear.

"It's amazing how quickly she adapted to set," Cruise said of his daughter. "To know to be quiet when I'm shooting ... I mean, Suri was great on the set."

According to court documents, Quaid and his wife Kimberly have accepted a settlement of $750,000 from the Los Angeles hospital, which last year took responsibility for giving the babies a life-threatening overdose of blood thinners.

Zoe Grace and Thomas Boone Quaid, now both 1, were being treated at Cedars for staph infections in November 2007 when an employee accidentally administered dosages of heparin (commonly used to flush out I.V.s) that were 1,000-times the recommended amounts for newborns, 10,000 units per millileter apiece instead of the standard 10.

Cedars was fined $25,000 earlier this year by the California Department of Public Health for "multiple failures by the facility to adhere to established policies and procedures for safe medication use."

Though they never sued Cedars, the Quaids, blaming poorly labeled bottles, sued heparin manufacturer Baxter Healthcare Corporation for negligence last December.

Quaid also testified before Congress in May against a proposed statute that would make it more difficult for patients to take pharmaceutical companies to court.

Once a judge signs off on the Quaids' deal with Cedars, the couple will no longer be able to pursue litigation against the hospital as part of a good-faith stipulation in the settlement, although they could sue on their children's behalf for future consequences of the accident.

The Cedars settlement does not affect the Quaids' lawsuit against Baxter.

Sarah Palin's Father Says His Daughter Will Make A Great Grandmother

Bristol Palin is expecting her first child, a son, on Dec. 20 – and her grandfather says their family has been receiving support and gifts from all over the world.

"In Sarah's mailroom, there's 87 boxes – big boxes of mail that haven't even been opened," Sarah Palin's father, Chuck Heath, 70, tells the Web site Grandparents.com.

"I've been answering letters all day, all week. We figure there's over a hundred thousand pieces here."

After rocketing into the public consciousness after Palin's vice-presidential bid, Heath says his family is still dealing with their newfound celebrity – and all the scrutiny that comes with such attention. "It completely changed everything here," he says.

"[We're] just a common, ordinary family. … All of a sudden [we] jumped into the mayhem." Still, Heath says he and his family remain devoted to Palin's political career. "We're very supportive of our daughter and her family," he says. "Anything she wants to do or undertake, we're backing her."

As for his granddaughter, Bristol, 18, becoming a mother, Heath says that she will have the full support of Sarah Palin, whom he characterizes as a hands-on mom. "My daughter will be a great grandmother," he says. "She's a great mother – great daughter, great mother. I don't know about how much time she can spend, she's so busy. But she'll get her licks in. Don't worry."
