Reese Shares Her Holiday Traditions With Vogue

"In her new movie Four Christmases, actress Reese Witherspoon and her onscreen husband, played by Vince Vaughn, are forced to spend the holiday with their relatives as they realize the importance of "[accepting] your family for who they are." In reality, however, the 32-year-old mother of two -- who recently opened up to Vogue about the upcoming holiday -- shares that she loves Christmas; "it's so great."
As many parents can attest to, the day is "always great with kids around," as Reese, who finds it "nice to have all that warmth and love," spends the time with her daughter Ava Elizabeth, 9, and son Deacon Reese, 5. Calling herself "really lucky" to "have two great kids," Reese shares her family traditions, saying the trio "makes cookies for Santa for Christmas Eve" and then "hangs their stockings [and] decorates the tree." On the 25th, Ava and Deacon wake up to always find their mom busy in the kitchen!
"I love to cook. I make an applesauce cake every morning on Christmas morning. My mom used to make a coffee cake every morning. There's a lot of food involved in our Christmas ... a lot of country cooking."
Ava and Deacon are Reese's children with her ex-husband, actor Ryan Phillippe.
Four Christmases hits theaters November 26th."
