Kate Gosselin Shops At FAO Schwarz With Her Bodyguard

Not long after her tearful appearance on the Today show, Kate Gosselin looked fresh-faced as she left New York City's FAO Schwarz with several bags on Monday afternoon.

The mother of eight was joined by her bodyguard Steve Neild, with whom her ex Jon Gosselin once feared she was having an affair.

Still, she maintained during her first television interview since announcing her separation from her husband that her relationship with Neild is not romantic. "There is no affair," she said. "There never has been an affair. We are very, very good friends with his wife and their family."
