Sarah Jessica Parker walked her son James Wilkie to school on a cool New York City Monday morning.

When duo finally reaching their destination, the "Sex and the City" star and her boy said their goodbyes, with SJP then catching a ride home with a friend.

SJP recently dished that she's not one to be too concerned with her appearance when she's away from the set.

"My hair mostly doesn't look good, but I don't care. It is very liberating when you are not working and you don't have to look presentable and pay attention to that. I just wash it, condition it and do as little as possible to torture it."
