Jon Minus Kate Talks To Fans On Fathers Day

Father's Day weekend for the Gosselins was just Jon and the eight, but some lucky fans got some quality time with the reality TV dad as well.

Jon Gosselin spent the weekend with his kids – Cara, Mady, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel – at their Wernersville, Penn., home, playing lacrosse and setting up a Slip 'N Slide for them on the front lawn before talking to fans who showed up at his front gate.

He also fielded a range of questions from whether he is getting divorced to what he got for Father's Day (homemade cards from his kids, which he had not yet opened). He deferred questions on rumors of his marriage ending and his apartment hunting in New York, simply saying "You'll have to watch the show."

Kate Gosselin was not home all weekend and Jon told the media gathered outside that he had "no idea" where she is. The impromptu meet and greet began with four giggling teen-age girls pulling up to the house and screaming, "Happy Father's Day Jon!" He turned and waved and said, "Thank you."

A few minutes later he walked out of the house with a stack of family pictures and began signing them for each girl – plus other fans who were driving by and stopped. Jon also talked about how son Aaden hurt himself Saturday by hitting his head on a corner while running around the house. "They stitched it up and he's fine," he said, adding that his Father's Day present from his kids is "spending time with them."
