Charlotte Church Gives Birth To A Baby Boy At Home

Charlotte Church gave birth to her second child yesterday - a boy weighing 7lb 5oz.

The singer, 22, had her boyfriend Gavin Henson and two midwives by her side when the baby was born just after midnight in a birthing pool at their farmhouse home in Wales.

She had been ten days overdue and Gavin, 26, a rugby player, missed an important match on Friday to make sure he was there for the birth.

Miss Church's spokesman said yesterday: 'He was born just after midnight at her and Gavin's home with Gavin in attendance at the birth. 'They haven't yet announced a name for their son, but we can confirm that he weighed in at 7lb 5oz and that mum and baby are both doing just fine.'

The couple already have a 16-month-old daughter Ruby and were described as 'well-chuffed' that the baby is a boy.
