Amy Poehler Speaks Out About Newborn Son Archie
Amy Poehler says she can't get enough of her 2-month-old son Archie. "It's amazing," says Poehler of motherhood. "He's a sweet boy. Archie's the best."
The actress, who gave birth to Archie Arnett on Oct. 25, stepped out with husband Will Arnett at Sunday's Golden Globes
Poehler, who left Saturday Night Live after seven years, starts working next month on a new NBC sitcom from the producers of The Office.
"We start shooting in February and it's on in April," she says of the show, which she describes as "like Tina Turner in [1985's Mad Max] Beyond Thunderdome. I am a boss; I have an office. It's a whole different world. It's not a spin-off, it's a whole different place. [The Office's] Rashida Jones plays my friend."
Even though she hasn't started filming yet, Poehler says she expects the sitcom to get a thumbs up from one very important critic: "I think Archie's going to think the show is going to be really funny."
